Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful staff, always availablle. Thank you so much, Angelo, Stefania and team! Very clean and tastefully equipped rooms, beautiful ocean view from our balcony and shower, and shady relaxing places in the lush gardens. Delicious food with homegrown ingredients.

The staff is great and everyone is putting the heart on the hotel! The stay in the hotel was excellent! The room was big and with a very nice view to the sea and the property garden, the breakfast was breathtaking and I suggest to try both Italian and English versions! Luckily we were too and we could try one of each every morning! The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a very interesting menu based on spices and vegatables from the garden, local cheese, fish and meet! Definitely Hibiscus Uno will sum up in your experience in the beautiful Calabria! We are coming back for sure!

Just some small things here and there, minor details: No water glasses in the bathroom or the room. Everyone gets the same amount of food for breakfast, what can lead to some food waste if your aren't a big eater in the morning. We are fine with walking on the side of the road to the city center but that is just what you have to bear in mind. So just small things, as our stay was great.

Lovely renovated property, a 15-20 walk from the center of Tropea. Free parking and free water in the minibar. Super clean and spacious rooms, including a balcony and walk-in shower. Angelo and family are super-nice hosts and provide you with all the info and service you need. Choice between an Italian or English breakfast, with products from their own garden. We ate dinner at their small restaurant, which offer a nice view and again works with their own products. We really liked our stay and came back a week later!

Wow. Wow. Wow. This property has left us speechless. From the start to the end we were wowed. Angelo picked us up from the train station and as it wasn’t busy he showed us around the town. We chose to have Italian breakfast one day and English breakfast the other. Both were amazing. On the second night we decided to go to their restaurant to have dinner and there’s nothing I’d recommend more. Despite, the 120 restaurants in Tropea I can guarantee there’s not one which has food as amazing as the chef prepares here. We came back every night after that. We booked a snorkelling excursion through Angelo with Bay Sharks and we’d also recommend that. Great length and you see lot of the coast which is beautiful. It was also my birthday while we were here and my boyfriend has asked Angelo to organise something special. He did not fail! The whole team had outdone themselves and gone above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back here and recommending to all our friends. We’ve visited 13 airbnbs/guesthouses/apartments during our travels in Italy and this was by far THE BEST.

Our host was so great! He drove us from the train station to the apartment for free! The location was also great, it was very family friendly! Great apartment that had everything you needed!

While the location is great it takes some getting used to not having a sidewalk while going into the city.

They offered to pick us up and drive us to the train station on arrival and departure. Also gifted us some delicious strawberries and had an incredible team of staff. We had the continental breakfast on our last day for 8€ each and it was more than worth the money. I can recommend it to everyone to try it at least once. And last but not least they have the loveliest dog that's very happy to see you when you come around.

Very happy with my stay at the residence. Delighted by the English breakfast, it tasted great. The fresh salad with rucola from their garden and eggs were from their chicken. Three kind brothers one taking care of the residence structure, one taking care of the kitchen and one of the vegetable garden.

Hibiscus Uno is definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed in with my friends. It has absolutely overcome our expectations! :) The structure is run by a wonderful family (and a cute dog Pablito :)) and they do everything to make the guests feel welcome and taken care for, and they do this with honesty and smile. We have received many suggestions on where to go, what places we can visit, in which restaurants to eat. The breakfasts were incredibly good and also served in a beautiful way! It was also possible to order a special birthday dinner which was absolutely spectacular, definitely better than in restaurants! :) Angelo, the manager of the place, provided us with transfer services from/to airport and to/from Capo Vaticano at a very descent price. There is a beautiful garden where you can relax, or have yoga session :) The family grows its own fruits/vegetables which are served during breakfast/dinner (when ordered). The place is around 10 minutes on foot from the center which is good as is still close, but not too close to hear the noise of people and cars. It was a real pleasure to stay in Hibiscus Uno and I absolutely recommend this place to everyone! We were picked up from the airport and driven back by car for extra payment, which was quite comfortable. During our stay Angelo and his family took great care of us and helped us whatever we needed. The breakfast including coffee, juice, egg dish, fresh salad and herbs from the garden, cheese, sausage, bread etc. was excellent. I am vegetarian and still was very satisfied. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed for a week. We were a bit concerned in the beginning, since you have to walk about 15 minutes along the road to the center and the beach. But the street is not very busy and there are also lights in the evening, so that was not a problem for us either. All in all we were very happy with our choice and would come back anytime.

The couple bed is not one full bed but two single twin mattresses put together. It is uncomfortable, we hug in our sleep like couples do lol. The shower needs a barrier edge so water stays in, I like to keep my space dry and clean. The curtains are sea truth so if you want privacy and good sleep close the wood shutters. The beach is very far, we took our car and found free parking

The linen smell really freshly cleanned, I even used their pillow which I never do, I travel with my own. They supplied tea cloth, extra floor mat. Green space. The breakfast was delicious!!!Best scramble eggs and served beautifully in our terrace. ❤ take the breakfast because city is expensive, we dont want to cook all day either. The beach is far, we took our car and found plenty of free parking as out host suggested

nothing really verything was conisistent with expecatations

Had a great one night stay here. A bit out of main part of town but we knew that (could still walk there so was fine). Arrived a little early and Angelo was amazing. Allowed us to check in early and coffee in the courtyard while we were waiting for room to be ready. He couldnt have been more helpful. Was travelling with a friend. Villa was large (two rooms) and perfect for our needs. Recommend
