Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful room, spa, pool, restaurants and grounds. All food was fantastic be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Booked one night. Loved it so much stayed a second. Lovely friendly and helpful staff.

Just a shame the meat was overdone on the evening meal and my girlfriends fish was too. But they didn’t charge us for the meat.

How clean the property was, how welcoming the staff were, the layout, our room, the gym, the pools, the scenery, the peacefulness, FLIPPING EVERYTHING!!!!!

a very special hotel. beautifuly decorated and styled. we also had spa treatment, very enjoying. we stayed in a 30m room. the hotel is 10 minutes drive from the city. There are also bicycles for the hotel’s guests to cycle in the area. very generous breakfast. for us The best in Italy so far.

A bit soulless the rooms. Lighting lack of carpeting made it feel cold. The pillows were not great.

Beautiful surroundings. The staff were helpful and flexible with the gym opening though 10am is quite late to open. But it was appreciated. Breakfast, the omelette I ordered was exceptional

Lovely pool and spa, comfortable room, good bathroom. Excellent breakfasts and delicious dinners. Taranto itself, a few miles distant, although a city full of interest in a lovely position on the sea, with a great museum and cathedral, is an industrial and naval centre and not primarily geared to cater for tourists.

A small negative point in our stay: the lunch was not good quality. But we will come back for the hotel, its staff and its amazing amenities!

Just a minor detail: not enough toilet paper provided

Everything was perfect. Broad and clean room, welcome champagne provided, Spa and restaurant at a very high level of service. I would like to thank again all the staff that literally took care of us during our stay. I will come back as soon as I can.

The Masseria has been beautifully renovated and it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in Italy! The staff is super professional, from Clara at the restaurant to the the front desk folks, everyone is incredibly aware and ready to help! This is truly a magical place!

Staff could be friendlier and more detailed. They didn’t present the hotel to us and rushed us to the room. They were also annoyed to have to remove all items from car. Feels like an abandoned property without proper management. Spa was okay. Breakfast wasn’t great and not so fresh. The restaurant for dinner was also so so. Its missing a touch of love and care and that is transferred to the guests.

Big, beautiful with a lot of potential

On this visit the food was not at all what we experienced on the first visit. Menu was lacking and dishes where either dull and flavourless or overbearingly salty. Even the simplest of dishes where not made with any kind of enthusiasm. The breakfast was defiantly the culinary highlight with fresh pastries and a nice selection of cold cuts and cheeses. The fruit on the other hand was left uncovered and therefore being devoured by flies. The pool bar/restaurant was closed for the season which would have been nice to know before hand. And as we where there they continued to remove all the sun lounger but the two we where on which made us feel very unwelcome and in the way. Although the service was good it was only ever reactive rather that proactive which at the is expected at a 5* property especially given the fact that we where alone at almost every meal.

This was our second visit to the property. We decided to go back as we had such a wonderful experience the first time around, however the second visit was not as remarkable. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the size of the tub although this would have been nicer had the hot water been working properly. The property itself is stunning, the outdoor pool, the spa and other facilities.
