Some may not like the stairs but I’ve always loved the top floor 😉 the cardio is more than worth it for this epic view and I didn’t mind at all

My second stay at Baia D’Amalfi with the lovely owner, Maddalena. I specifically came back to spend more time at this hotel on the Amalfi coast. It could not be more central, looking directly onto the water. A two minute walk to the pier complete with a sitting area on a balcony with tables and an ocean view. Pick up some supplies from the local shops and enjoy a bottle of wine here for a fraction of the cost and with much more privacy than eating in the middle of town. Maddalena makes sure you have her number if there is anything you need and gives the best recommendations. I checked out at 10am on my final day but my flight wasn’t until 10pm and she graciously let me charge my phone and refresh in the lobby after parasailing. She is just the sweetest and works so hard to make your stay the best. A small note is that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator and North Americans - please don’t expect the Ritz in the middle of NYC! This is a historic building on a historic coastline and the eccentricities and quirks of the hotel reflect that, just as one would hope when coming on such a holiday. It feels like such a rich part of the culture and coastline. The air con was fabulous, the location divine, and I caught the most amazing view of the super moon above Amalfi from my room. Again, this is my second time at this hotel and for good reason, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and my only fear writing this review is that it will become so popular it will be hard to get a room here for what has now become my annual Amalfi trip. situation right in the centre very close to bus and ferry stations.the manageress was extremely friendly and helpful. The property has a wonderful terrace overlooking the harbour with views of the bay.

We loved the location. 5mins walk to the port and the centre of amalfi. Beautiful view and super kind owner. She helped carrying our luggage from the bus stop to the hotel and even lent us beach towels for free!

Lovely clean room and property, private terrace for guests with the best views in Amalfi of the sea! We arrived early to avoid the traffic and the owner was very helpful in arranging for her husband to collect the car and park it to save paying expensive parking. Will definitely come back again

It would help if they mention there is no lift up to the apartment. It didn't bother us as we were capable to carrying our bags up but would be helpful for others who couldn't. The room was old and dated but clean so we still enjoyed it! Overall were very happy with our stay.

The shower was a little cramped and the stairs were quite steep as well as the doorway leading straight out onto a big populated street with plenty of cars

Many steps so climb which can be hard but good work out. Not good if you have big bags though (we only had carry on)

The staff were so wonderful assisting me with luggage, early check in ect...such lovely people. Great location. Cute little window looking out at the Pier. Simple and basic but clean and very affordable. Hairdryers and kettle were great to have. Really enjoyed and would recommend!

Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. Exceptionally clean. Perfect location overlooking the sea. Host was amazing. We were held up due to train breaking down and the hosts went out of there way to meet us when we arrived late. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Just a quick walk across the street and you’re in the village of Amalfi. This hotel is a true gem.

Absolutely fantastic value for money. Cant believe how cheap it was! Yes it's basic, but you can't expect anything else for those prices, and the balcony is also beautiful. Very good service too, we only had one small problem in our ten days, and someone was fixing it ten minutes later :) Would definitely come back! Thankyou
