Keys a little tricky to manage but once I got the hang of it it helped. Currently scaffolding outside window, had to be conscious of people walking outside window at night.

Just one minus - the mosquitoes. Don't leave the window open and plug in the anti-mosquitoes thingy right away :)

The location was great, short walk to the center. The rooms were really clean and the hosts were really kind, they let us leave our bags at the place after checkout.

Unfortunately because of quite huge amount of plants in the palce there were a lot of mosquitos in the room that didn't let my friend and me to sleep at night. Our night was nearly completly sleepless because our faces were badly bitten and in effect itchy swallen (I'm not kidding!). Definitely take a mosquito repellent if you wish to stay there.

Nice owner, beautiful old blidnig with fantastic ceiling paitings - I really liked the colonial and traveller decoration of the place, we've got a cosy, quiet room, free parking. It's quite close to the center.

Sone mosquitos in the room when we arrived but I feel like that can't be helped. The walls and door are thin so you can hear everything from toilets, walking, coughing etc. Bring ear plugs for when you sleep and you will be fine.

The bathroom was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and gave good amount of covers to keep yourself warm. Muffins and coffee was available in the room, the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Good value for money. Location is a bit further away from main square but close to the old theatre. The room was nice and spacious, with a big bed, altough I traveled alone. Private free car park inside the yard, but on a first come first serve base.

The Hotel was very nice to stay, everything was perfect to us. It is close to the centre, personels were so kind, and the room was very clean. Room cleaning done every day. Our room contain refrigerator and this was perfect to us. And thanks a lot to Hans, he is so kind. He every day asked how we were and how our day went. He was always ready to help and gave advice on places to visit. Thanks for eveything. It was amazing holiday for us in Catania. I definitely recommend to everyone.

The location is perfect. The house is 18century old but elegant building. The room roof is very beautiful with classical style. The owner Hans and his wife is very nice. Hans gave me very useful information everyday when I left from somewhere. I will strong recommend this hotel when you are hesitate to choose which place you live in Catania!

The outside of the building was under construction, so if someone opened the window, dust would enter. The workers were walking on the scaffolding just outside our window. The soundproofing was non-existent, so at night, we heard the voices of other occupants. From the photos, we had another impression of the hotel.

The bathroom was ok(except for the fact, we found the previous visitor's hair in the shower cabin). The ceiling and most of walls were piece of art.
