Heaven in the middle of Naples! Great hosts, friendly people, very clean, excellent coffee, craft beer. The garden is amazing, clean rooms, nice terrace on the roof. Cosy atmosphere. Definitely will come back 🥰

Elevator not working to 1st floor meant having to carry heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs. A good workout to burn off some pizza. 😉 But wouldn’t be great for a reduced mobility person.

The beds are really too tight, no way to sit, I was occupying the middle of three bunk bed. they should change this and they will become really perfect.

It was so cold in our room and the air condition wasn’t doing much! We found a piece of gum on one of the towels but the staff seemed shocked as well.

We loved tha cafe, our room and the garden so much!!! The hostel is just gorgeous!!! The location is a bit hard to get to because it’s very uphill, but that’s Napoli everywhere! Napoli is truly amazing and my favorite city in Italy.

It’s right at the top of a big hill which is absolutely fine if you’re ready for the walk. Poor cell service around the hostel.

Really gorgeously decorated and great vibes all throughout the building and in the garden. I could have happily sat there all day.

We constantly didn’t have the toilet paper in my room 🥹🙈😄 some guest would take it to the kitchen to use it as paper towels lol.

Pretty much everything! But it all started from such a nice and lovely staff! 🥰 you feel welcome straight away. The rooms are good size and clean. The garden is great, people would hang out either in the kitchen or in the garden after coming back from exploring the city. The kitchens very good, there’s plenty of space to eat your food or have a drink. You get a free towel too 👍🏻

An absolute gem. So relaxing and calm. Beautiful hostel with a lot of different spaces to socialise or relax quietly. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. My room was so clean, neat and tidy. I was worried it would be too far out but it was actually super close to all of the main attractions in the heart of Napoli. The Metro station (Montesanto) just down the road means you get a train directly to the lower entrance of Pompeii (Pietrarsa-S. Giorgio A Cremano) which was great too. Absolutely fantastic and will definitely return.

Since we took the room with 10 beds, other people were not always quiet when they would go to sleep late, or leave in early morning, so our first night was really short (but fortunatly the second was better!)

The garden is really nice, there are a lot of spots to seat with a drink. The beds are confortables, the bathroom is big enough and clean, and the staff is really nice and always helpful.

The only thing I could say is that to arrive to the hostel you have to go up because it's on the slope.

The hostel is incredible, very calm and has beautiful views. It has a garden and the vibes in general are great. The staff is amazing, very nice and helpful. Finally, the room is so comfy as well. I would repeat it 100%. Nothing to regret.

Like most hostels the kitchen can be a bit of a situation with lots of people cooking at once in one stove area with limited pots/pans etc and hectic fridges. I've stayed in so many hostels and most have this same issue but some seem to get ahead with lots of supplies from Ikea and a HUGE stash of cleaning cloths and tea towels etc and brooms nearby to keep the food area hygienic and clean.

Loved this authentic Napoli experience that definitely answered to the descriptions of being a sanctuary of sorts hidden amongst chaotic, beautiful Naples. Staff were upbeat and kind and the kitchen is a melting pot for conversation and engagement. Outside, inside, lots of spots to be alone or to be cosy or to work. Down to earth awesomeness, I was very happy here and will be very happy to visit again. Thank you!

I think the only downside was the air circulation in the room's bathroom. Other than that, great conditions for a shared room.

The hospitality of all the people working at HOPESTEL and staying there was great. Good people, a good environment, and the garden is a great place to relax after long walks in Napoli's city center. Also, the localisation is fantastic. You are really close to the historical center and the main landarmarks in Napoli. So, certainly would recommend HOPESTEL to anyone that wants a very cheap way to spend some nights visiting Napoli.
