Great location if you're traveling by train, the staff is very welcoming, and the hostel is beautiful, clean and comfortable, highly recommend it.

You need a car or a motorbike for visiting Taormina, no chance to go there by walking - very steep hill.

Friendly host. Cosy garden. Fridge. Kitchen. Comfortable bed. Good price/value ratio. Nice place by the sea (although the beach is not comfortable for swimming).

Unfortunately, the hostel has a bed bug issue at the moment. My bed as well as other beds had bugs. The staff was very supportive and immediately disinfected the room the following day, but of course it leaves a bitter taste. I would recommend getting rid of the mattresses/replacing them in order to make sure the problem is resolved.

The hostel is in an amazing location, right by the beach. You can hear the waves while sleeping. The staff is very welcoming and overall, I felt like home.

The beds are extremely unstable. As you get up the bunkbed, you feel like the bed’s going to fall down.  Every slight movement results in a vigorous shaking of the bed. No AC.

I stayed in the bunk at the top and it is very difficult to climb because the bed is very high and there is a box right in front that serves as a locker. That got in the way a little

The room was too hot, and while there's two fans, one on the wall and one on the ceiling, the first couldn't turn left and right, and even when turned on to maximum it couldn't make the room cooler. So I sweated throughout the night like crazy and that kept me from getting a good night sleep and so was the case with my roommate. Also the beds, while being super interesting, are so sqeaky and I had the feeling that everything will collapse any second.

A very unique hostel where everything is connected: the rooms, the balcony, the kitchen, the terrace... And that all functions perfectly! Everything is super clean. The best thing is the location which overlooks the beach so it's absolutely amazing sitting on the balcony, drinking beer and watching the sea and ships marooned near. And I could even smell the scent of the sea when I was in bed. You can buy drinks right there in the hostel without the need to go out. The people staying there are all super nice and friendly. Kitchen is also nice.

The beds were a little narrow (I think 90 cm wide) and not so comfortable. One of the bathrooms' shower was broken when I was there. Bunk beds are a little bit squeaky.

My room was just in front of the beach, the view and the porch were amazing. I liked the decorations of the lobby and the room. They were taking care of a cat family in their garden, which I think very nice. The lockers were vig enough.

The bunk beds were very loud is only thing, so every little movement made a loud cracking noise.

The location was great! A lovely view especially when the sun starts going down. Also a couple of shops and a bar right outside the door. Staff were very kind and helpful despite the language barrier. Bathroom was lovely. For the price I payed, I can’t complain.

Amazing old apartment with a balcony over a busy beach. The family lives there and there is a large room with 12 beds. I went in mid-August and it was great. Felt like heaven compared to busy Taormina at the top of the hill.

It does get hot and as there is no aircon so strategic bed picking (with location to fan) is a good idea. That said it does not get as hot as I thought and I slept very well. Some guests had fans as each bed has a plug which is a good idea if you need to keep cool. This would not stop me returning as I had a a wonderful time. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.

Location, terrace, the garden, the atmosphere, the people. Pretty damn near perfect. A cosy and social hostel, only 12 beds. Paula and her family live in the building so it feels really safe and homely. I loved it!

Private room it's on the way of the main entrance and kitchen, hence it could get quite noisy. If you're a light sleeper, you might re consider this.

In five weeks of traveling around sicily, this is by far the worst place that I stayed. One of the reasons that I chose this place is because it has a washing machine. When I opened the washing machine it was full of moldly water so I couldn't use it. The apartment has a worm problem. There are worms on the walls and there was one on the sponge. I almost vomited when I picked it up and saw that. The upstairs is full of cats and due to being allergic to cats I got a headache as soon as I went up there. That's where the dormitory rooms are. Luckily I stayed downstairs where there are no cats. The wifi is very bad. The credit card reader was broken so I had to go get cash from an ATM and of course pay a fee. The listing says there is a bidet but there isn't. The hostess is an extremely unpleasant person. During my stay she was dismissive and rude and she contacted me after I checked out because I didn't wash all the dishes. She was very insulting about it. There is no sign saying that I needed to and nothing in the listing says that either. When I stay in places with a nice host I always wash all the dishes. Because the apartment and the host were so bad, I didn't want to do that favor. This place is unhygienic, unwelcoming, and not worth the price. I have stayed in much much nicer places in Sicily that cost much less.

Paola is a very warm and welcoming person. The place is well located. You easily get to the train station and bus stop. It is clean and calm with a great view on the sea. I got fresh fruit from the garden. We exchanged our travel stories. It was very convenient for me as I was going to dive and wanted to visit Taormina.
