The small fridge in the room was not working, which i didn't realize until the next morning, resulted with some loses on my part :) There were complimentary water bottles but unfortunately one of them was half, which I also realized late at night. In these terms, housekeeping has some margin to improve. In the breakfast, some items in the buffet run out very early and when asked we were told it is really finished :)

Location was excellent with great view and a very nice terrace in the lobby floor. Located very close to the cable car and shuttle busses to old city center, therefore it was very easy to travel back and forth. Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. Room was spacious and silent.

The lady at the front desk was extremely unhelpful when it came to asking for directions towards our end of our stay. However later a younger lady assisted us that was a lot more helpful.

Air conditioning was average. Likely just old.

Great location in regards to the beach, and cable car to head straight up the hill. Minimart’s just downstairs with absolutely everything you need. There’s a great public access terrace on the top floor with sun-beds and a shower to keep cool.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the service was quick and the crew payed attention to the details. The view is beautiful from the balcony and the breakfast included wide variety of local and continental foods. The beach is really near to the hotel. In overall it was a great experience.

Nothing to complain. Important: book a room with a view.

Due to romantic reasons, we came back after 30y. Still, a good place to stay. Perfect location to see and feel the beach, to embrace the Mazzaro atmosphere. Good breakfast, reliable WiFi. Good places to eat are around. Beaches are only for rent, and not sandy, but this you know obviously. Very close to Funivia which brings you uphill. Note: Mazzaro is not Taormina. :-) Super Markets sell cold wine until late.

Can think of anything to write that bothered me massively. Perhaps, and I know this is small, but the bacon at breakfast was very greasy, but it's a small thing. Overall very good.

Room terraces very close to each other. We couldn't get a cup of coffee after 10.15am except out of a machine.

Fantastic location and great view from our balcony. Minutes walk from either the beach or the funicular into town. Staff were friendly and helpful.

clean and well kept, great location and views. staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble - even managed to check in early as our room was ready! The aircon worked very well which was a plus and the room fridge lovely and cold.

Basic facilities. Parking spots limited so call to lock a spot in! Have to catch the cable cart to town (huge lines).

I would say the only negative side was the our bathroom it seemed a little muggy and the shower head was too low.

Perfect location with isola bella only a minutes walk and quick access to the cable car, and the beach. There were fantastic views from the main hotel terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea to mainland Italy. The staff were also courteous and friendly.

The road noise overnight was a pity, but nothing the hotel could have done anything about. I wouldn't have changed the balcony & sea view for anything!

We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the sea. It was so beautiful. Also, I had asked for an early check in, and the staff managed to accommodate this request which helped us hugely. The car park at the rear of the hotel was easy to find and meant we could safely leave our car whilst we explored the area.

The entrance of the hotel was extremely close to the road and the absence of a sidewalk made coming back to the hotel rather unpleasant

One of the rooms had a beautiful sea view, the rooms were modern and looked after. The terrace in front of the reception desk that was facing the sea side was an added bonus.

It was too expensive for a place hotel like that and a room like that. The lady at the breakfast really needs a vacation.

Staff pretty unhelpful when we reported room problems. Eventually got sorted next day. The hotel room wasn't the same as the pictures. It needs upgrading. Unaware of limited hotel bar opening and the restaurant wasn't open at lunch which the website states it is.
