The view wasn't great. There was just a narrow "pit" with grey, crumbling walls and windows of other rooms. So a bit misleading information in the description. Room was tiny and dimly lit, no storage space, just the clothes rack and a table. Shower was abysmal, more like a bidet that would shoot water wherever. I don't understand why they wouldn't invest even in a cheap, functioning showerhead. There really was no reception, receptionist was present only when I checked in, after that the lobby was completely closed (locked away). Also there was no lounge, cafeteria or anything like that, so you had to look for breakfast someplace else. I think half of the price comes from the location itself, not a great experience.

Historical building indeed, although the view was just a wall of the hotel itself. Located right in the heart of the old city, all the greatest landmarks of Siena are right around the corner, plenty of shops nearby. Though the view was lacking, it was nice to be able to open the windows for cool air and even hang some clothes outside. The room did have an air conditioner but I couldn't make it work, though there was no need. Radiator worked just fine.

The location was excellent, right in the Center of the old city and easy to access. Close to Siena FS train station. Staff were friendly and accommodating and facilities were new, simple & clean. Great value for money.

This SHOULD NOT be listed as a hotel, but as a hostel instead. It’s not only the spiral stairs to reach the rooms, but the size of the room, the odor coming from the bathroom, the tiniest shower space, the so-called bath towels, which are actually something else. In short, a huge disappointment.

Very tiny room, small table not actually suitable for working on laptop.

Perfect location if you want to stay for a few days and get a quick access to all the main spots and places in old town of Siena! Also the view on the square is mesmerising and very romantic. But you have to keep in mind that this is a crowded place so there’s always noise from the outside, also at night. The room itself is ok, comfortable bed and nice air conditioning if needed.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny, this place needs an upgrade on their bathroom suites. Didn't mind how small the bedroom was, it was good enough for what we needed. However, our shower was absolutely terrible, and you basically had to stand over the toilet in order to shower. Level above hostel.

The location of this place is absolutely fantastic, you walk out and within two minutes you're in the central piazza of Siena. Staff were friendly enough on check in. They cleaned the room during our stay and fresh towels were provided.

The "bathroom" was so small that the toilet was actually in the shower(no shower cabin) , tiny shower curtain to separate. Had to be scared that if u shower too long it will end up in the room :( overall very disappointing The dark colour (dark brown) of the room made it feel very small and depressing

The shower did not drain properly and the whole room flooded, which soaked our personal belongings. There was no warning from the staff about the problem, but they did apologise while we were checking out. The room also smelled very bad when we arrived.

There is low height clearance so we knocked our head a few times as we are tall and clumsy! The bathroom is really tiny that when you shower everything gets wet. Despite these things we really enjoyed the stay!

The location is great and the room was so cute looking out to the roofs. The reception staff were all so lovely and accommodating- first giving lots of recommendations, then allowing us to have a late check out and finally keeping our bags for us during the day.

Really tiny room and bathroom, no place to move. The walls were not soundproof at all, couldn't sleep all night because of the other guests.

The price point was too high for the standard of accommodation. Could hear upstairs toilet, fan and drainage . Not all the staff was friendly.
