Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAll was excellent.
Hotel is an easy walk to the Colleseum and Cavour metro stop. The location to the main train station Termini is a walk of about 15 mins. There are quite a few attractions you can walk to from hotel in a short amount of time. Google Maps/directions work really well in helping with the navigation. ALL of the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. All understood English and spoke better English than I did Italian. Room had been recently updated and was exceptional. It had a small balcony even. Bathroom had a shower with multiple showerheads+ a hand held wand. Minifridge came with 2 bottles of water that were restocked as needed included in room rate. Many resturants really close by.

SingaporeNothing really. There was very loud resident in my floor but I could handle the situation be asking them to mind their voices
Before booking this hotel, I was very hesitant considering that i found similar rate for bigger rooms but in a different area, but once i got to the place the young lady Martina was so sweet and very helpful providing information even without me asking. I had a noise issue with my room and they tried to fix it, but when it didn't they immediately upgraded my room for a double one and with a cute view. Location was perfect, the onwner was very nice and works seemed all pleased and helped the service to be on point. Every request was met and if I'm in Rome again this is where I will be staying.

United StatesLocation great for hanging around the ancient Roman ruins, contemplating how you would fare as a gladiator, whilst eating gelato. Good breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, lots of cakes and pastries and some other items (eggs, toast, bacons, cold meats). Friendly staff. Felt very safe and welcoming.

BelgiumThe bed was very hard and caused us pain, even after they added a mattress topper. We did not sleep very well at all. We dont remember having this problem when we were there last year. We came back one evening and the cleaning person had left a key in our door. Fortunately, we did not have any missing items.
The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Easy to contact. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The shower was amazing. This was our second visit to this hotel, and, if not for the bed, we would stay there again. Amazing location, 3 minutes walk to the collesium.

United StatesI had a single room on the 6th floor which was small but just fine for my two-night stay in Rome in October 2023. Don't panic if they give you a room on an upper floor--there is an elevator. The lovely and friendly Antonella kindly stored my luggage and allowed me to use the facilities when I arrived ahead of check-in. I didn't catch the name of the young woman who was at the desk in the evening, but she was also very kind and handed me a card for the restaurant Benso (a few doors down) where as a guest of Centro Cavour I received a one-time 20% discount on my bill (I had a lovely dinner there both nights I was in town). Gian was another charming and helpful staffer (I hope I spelled his name right!). I required a taxi to Galleria Borghese on my first morning in Rome, and to FCO airport the next morning: the staff took care of securing these rides for me, which was such a relief. Really, I can't say enough about how warm and genuine the staff was.

TurkeyHad some problems with the wifi, but other than not no problems whatsoever.
It was overall a very good experience. Getting there was easy, 20 min walk from termini or a very short taxi ride. Location was great, you are 1 minute walking away from Colosseum. The room was big and clean, bathroom was also very clean, no problems with hot water or any amenities. Our was on the second floor, and it had a balcony, which was a huge plus (not sure about other rooms). It is close to metro and there is a but station right in front of the hotel. Staff was very nice and very helpful.
