Noise. Very loud, young (perhaps students) coming and going all night - yelling and noisy in the room adjacent to mine. Noise didn't stop until after 2:00 am

We absolutely loved our stay here, Marco was so friendly and helpful. Room was a great size, and was well appointed with a mini fridge and tea/coffee station. Great places to eat nearby - I especially recommend Gelateria Verde Pistacchio for Gelato!!

They give us a frizzing room (December)with an AC that did not work “because it has no gas” and the shower was also cold. This is unacceptable. We have to ask for another room two times. We not them. Not recommended.

The hotel is located in the heart of the sights! Very beautiful and comfortable elevator will take you to the desired floor. The room is very cozy, and a beautiful green color. Cleaned every day and provided new towels. Tea, coffee, sugar was in the room every day. And I want to say special thanks to Marco, he suggested interesting places and cafes where you can have a wonderful time!☺️

Marco on the front desk was brilliant, so welcoming and recommended a lovely local restaurant for me one night. The location is great, you can walk everywhere and so close to the station too. I was a solo traveller and felt very comfortable staying here.

No one wt reception at night. Rooms are old. Despite the fact that they state they have airconditioning, one of our 2 rooms did not have one. When i called to ask about it, the owner yelled at me and said it is too cold outside to put on the air. He said i can move to a different hotel, asked me where i came from and hung up the phone on me. The water pressure is so low it took us 15 minutes to wash shampoo off of our hair.

The location was pretty ok. About 1-2 km from all main attractions. Marco from reception was very nice.

We were due to stay at Hotel Dorica however there was issues with the building so we were moved an hours walk across the city to near the Vatican therefor my review is based on Residence Candia. Hotel Residence Candia was very uncomfortable. We were hot, itchy and sleepless most of the time. The pillows and bed was the worst part. Bring your own pillow! We booked this hotel based on its location and walking distance to bars, shops and attractions that were of interest to us. Anyone booking accommodation in a tourist city knows location is everything so to be moved across the city was less than ideal. At the time I didn’t dispute however upon reflection and over 30,000 steps a day (which i didn’t want to do) I wish I had asked for alternative options. It felt very pushed on us to be moved and when questioned about how long it would take to walk places in comparison to our current location it was politely brushed off by the hotel staff. This reaction does not give me confidence to recommend to family or elderly friends that need to stay within the location given for fear that their holiday will turn into a complete trek around. Although beautiful and with lots to do and pop into take feast breaks its not what we signed up for on this particular trip to Rome. Had this been our second or third it wouldn’t have been so bad but as a first time visitor we wanted to be near the fountain not the Vatican.

The property where we stayed* had a lift, fridge and washing facilities and the staff were very nice. These are really the only things going for this unless you plan to be around the Vatican and or want to do a lot of walking. In some ways it was a blessing and had this been our second or third it wouldn’t have been so bad. Due to the impromptu location we saw a lot of the city as we literally walked everywhere. If you are a fan of Bonci or the Vatican or St Peter’s basilica then you really couldn’t get any closer. *We were due to stay at Hotel Dorica however there was issues with the building so we were moved an hours walk across the city to near the Vatican therefor my review is based on Residence Candia.

Problem with credit card going through, called property and updated credit card at Booking.com and properties request and they said they would hold room. Got confirmation from Booking.com all ok and hotel gave our room to another guest. We arrived in Rome with no room, hotel pushed us off to to two other hotels with no success. Marco from hotel finally assisted us and was gracious and found us another hotel and paid cab fee.

Amazing hotel with great location, Santa Maria Maggiore and other landmarks, within walking distance. There is also a wide choice of Italian restaurants nearby. The hotel is located on the 1st floor and has a few rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Marco, always attentive & available for any needs.

The hotel was nice and location great, but Marco was the most nice and ready to help person ever! We received great tipps and he even made a reservation for us - speaks several languages and we had the feeling we could talk with him for hours! Obrigada por tudo :)
