Beautiful location very central and easy to walk everythere but not jam-packed full of tourists like the cathedral just a short walk away. Very close to the train station but on this lovely plaza so doesn't seem that close when you're there. Beautiful hotel, very nice and helpful staff. Would love to come back when the pool is open - but was there in November!

Really rated this hotel. Perhaps the bar prices are a little expensive so not a lot of people using at night but v nice , could attract more if more affordable.

Exceptional Hotel , ideal location for Florence . Amazing views from the roof terrace . Staff extremely helpful , professional and courteous particularly the reception staff . Decor very tasteful and a lovely atmosphere. Room very high standard and spotless throughout.

We had a suite for two days, which was great, but due to availability we had to change to a smaller room. The bathroom in that room was terrible. The toilet and bidet were crunched to each other. For the value, I would never stay in that room again.

This property is fantastic. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room cozy and clean. The rooftop pool and lounge absolutely amazing. The morning breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. The location was perfect.

It is a good idea if there would be some different items with more diversity in breakfast everyday.

The location was great and very close to most of landmarks, the room was spacious and really romantic like its name and the breakfast was really good as well. Just one point, as we were there for 5 days we have not seen diversity in day to day breakfast, but with no doubt it was really good per se.

Roof garden, pool and bar was great! Excellent breakfast. Top location. Friendly staff (I should have started with the staff). Five minutes from the train station, and another three from the river. Valet parking.

Amazing location, and the rooftop pool is a fantastic bonus. The hotel room was very nice - we had one of the standard doubles - functional and very clean. We asked for a kettle and tea/coffee which came immediately. The rooftop bar is a nice treat, but drinks and food are very expensive - €15 for a glass of wine. Breakfast was good with some very nice cakes served each day, as well as fruit, yogurts, hams and cheeses, different breads, eggs, bacon, mushrooms. The coffee wasn’t the best we’d had in Italy, and tasted quite bitter. However, it’s well worth a stay here just for the pool and the views!

But for both nights we stayed, we had no wi-fi connection in room 129, so we could not check-in for our flights online nor could we receive important notices (such as flight delays and seat switches) we had signed up for from airlines). We also could not utilize wi-fi to watch shows from Netflix etc. so we watched no TV (all other channels were Italian TV). Also, the first night - we only had shampoo and soap. I luckily always snag a bottle of conditioner and body lotion from hotels that provide them, just in case the next one does not. The next day, everything was provided...but we were desperate for it on the first day and were sticking our fingers into bottles to get the last drop out. We didn't feel like calling from the desk ... the note about being able to call the front desk we if forgot supplies was not in the bathroom so we didn't know we could do it. We saw the note the next day when all the usual supplies were provided to us. Also, the rooftop swimming pool was open between 9am - 7pm. I really wanted to use it before I started my day, or after a long hot day out around the city. It seemed to be available for people who spent their late morning and early evenings un the hotel. I actually booked the hotel for the swimming pool and never used it... who stays in the hotel to use the pool past 9am and come to the hotel just to swim before dinner time?

The location was spectacular. We don’t think there was a better location in Florence to stay! the rooftop bar had a stunning view. In the heart of shops & restaurants.
