The walls are quite thin and the bunks don't have small lamps in them. Be careful with the shower so you don't flood the room.

The rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable. All the beds have outlets to charge your devices too. Staff at reception were very kind and helpful. They also let you store your luggage for free before check in and after check out.

Ujutru su od oko pola 9 u sobi iznad nas pravili veliku buku koja nas je probudila. Kada smo dosli u sobu, iz tuša je išla voda koja je poplavila celo kupatilo, odnosno cesma nije bila ugasena do kraja.

Taking into account the Hotello is a hostel, it is difficult to find fault with it. It is excellent value for money and the staff could not have been more helpful. Just try to avoid being there on a Saturday night if you're not under 30: it's DJ night.

The hostel normally intended for sleeping becomes a discotheque on Saturday night with loud noises till midnight - Later in early morning, some drunk young people are shouting inside the hostel….

Bathroom - no soap, no wipes to dry your hands. After shower the floor was all wet - clearly some issue with drainage. Loud music coming from the bar downstairs - while noisy guests are a common occurence at hostels, music banging loudly after 10 pm is not. It was not possible to fall asleep even with earplugs or your own headphones.

Nice location, within 10 minutes of walking from the bus station and main attractions. Friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast served in the hostel bar - basic but it was a nice addition. Many activities offered for the guests to socialize. Luggage storage before and after check-in.

Our room was on the top floor and until midnight it was very noisy because of the music from the rooftop restaurant

Our family stayed one night in a private room of this hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Hostel is in heart of Trieste and main squares, streets and sea are very close.

Rooms were very noisy, could hear the music from downstairs, but that's to be expected. There was a group of young students up until well after midnight running around, shouting and banging on doors and you could hear everything as if the door was open. Dorm was beside the public bathrooms so very noisy in the morning too with the kids. Rooms didn't have AC.

Staff were really kind, put me in a female dorm instead of mixed which I had booked which was lovely of them. Good location and have events going on downstairs in the bar. Room was a good size and the private bathroom for the dorm was a great plus. Location is great!

There was a karaoke night which started at 8 and went on till past midnight. Impossible to sleep. When I queried it the next morning, the receptionist just said that it's the nature of the hostel. I said I had come to sleep and there should have at least been a cut off point eg 11pm

That you have to put on the bedshets on the bed yourself (even in a hostel it‘s a minimum what they could prepare beforehand), just to let you know: for the bus to Miramare you need to prebuy the ticket, they are not sold in the bus (was a wrong information from the hostel), a towel in the dorms would have been nice

Not necessarily the most solo traveller social hostel but still has a lively atmosphere! Only issues is that the shared easily “flood” on the floor as it’s on a similar level to the rest of the bathroom.

Hands down, the kindest and most welcoming staff! I’m worried I will spell her name wrong but a lovely staff member with short hair was so incredibly helpful during my check in! Thank hostel is clean, incredibly close to both the station and the centre or Trieste.

Perhaps the price is a bit high for an offer that does not include breakfast and has shared dormitories.

Hostel located in an excellent position, just a few steps from Piazza Unità d'Italia and with several parking options. Dogs are welcome. A modern and welcoming facility with various common areas. The rooms are typical of a hostel, but some are available with private bathrooms.
