Beds was maybe a little bit hard but for one night it was fine.

Absolutely stunning place with the most amazing view. Beautiful room with a small patio overlooking the valley. The garden, poolare and the wine yard area is perfectly maintained. The sunset ws amazing. Very close to Montalcino, walking distance up a steep hill so with strong legs approx 15 minutes. Very nice breakfast hosted by Fabio (great host)! Overall highly recommended!

Excellent stay in this fabulous Tuscan retreat. Fabio prepares the best homemade breakfasts one could ever hope to have and provided a very nice wine tasting. The gorgeous property overlooks vineyards and the room is very comfortable. I especially loved the pillows. I hope to return! It is a steep uphill 15 minutes walk into town or a quick drive. Parking in town was no problem in March. Overall I definitely recommend for a peaceful stay with a fantastic host.

The only caution is that if you're driving, the drive to the villa is very steep, so be careful. The walk to and from town is doable by foot (approximately 15-20 minutes to the center).

One point to note is that the road leading to the location is a gravel road with uphill stretches and a few potholes. I recommend having a good car and being a skilled driver, but nothing too challenging.

Although we arrived late in the evening and we woke up to a gloomy day, the little we could observe of the landscape was truly breathtaking. The room was exquisite – clean, warm, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable retreat. The owner was exceptionally kind, offering valuable local recommendations, and the breakfast he prepared added a delightful touch to the experience.

Fabio the Fabulous host cooked up and prepared a fabulous breakfast. The location was a little bit difficult to find but once there had amazing views of Brunello Wine Country. Fabio hooked us up with a free winery tour that was quite good as well. Highly recommend this host and place to stay in Montalcino

Fabio is an amazing host. His property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the patio drinking a glass of his 1285 wine. Breakfast was delicious and offered many choices, including Fabio's baked cakes and pastries. This is a great location for those interested in visiting Montalcino and the surrounding areas.

The bathroom is lil too small and need to walk around the bed to avoid wet shower area, would be nice to have some space in front of mirror. However the bathroom design is also what I like the best

Nothing… except a bit hard to find the first time in. Fabio did a great job guiding us. Maybe signs along the way would be a help to assure weary travelers they are going in the right direction.

Wonderful hospitality, attention to details, incredible decor, and the view was breathtaking. Fabio was a fantastic host, making sure all guests were comfortable and guiding our adventures beyond Il burrillino. Our room was like a page from history, with tasteful artistic accents blending perfectly with the beamed ceiling, ancient tile floors and shuttered windows. The bathroom was modern and yet blended perfectly with the original building. Everything was first class and the setting was tranquil and luxurious. Highly recommend.

Nothing! We had a wonderful stay

The host Fabio was extremely welcoming and prepared an incredibly nice breakfast. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed waking up to a view of the Tuscan hills. In addition to the room, there were plenty of places on the property to relax such as the outdoor patio and garden. The location was great only about 5-10 minutes to town center and down the road from a local winery. The road is steep to get to the B&B but the city is located on the top of a hill. There was plenty of space for parking upon arrival. I would love to stay here again when I return to Montalcino!

We loved everything about il burellino! It is located just outside the beautiful Montalchino so you can enjoy both the town and the country side. The owners did a wonderful job renovating the house. Our apartment was absolutely comfortable and beautiful. Fabio's breakfast with homemade pies was excellent and he was really kind to help us with the laundry which is a big deal when you are on a road trip. Their wine is excellent as well. Perfect place to stay a couple of nights or a couple of weeks.

The property is extremely beautiful with the most amazing views you can imagine. The gardens and pool area are so enchanting they are straight out of a Tuscany magazine. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. Fabio was friendly and always helpful. The breakfast had a huge selection of delicious Italian goodies and freshly made to order eggs. A great experience that we hope to enjoy again soon!
