We were upstairs in the main building, several times a day the strong smell of cigarette smoke came in the windows or door, no way to escape it.

Location was excellent for visiting within 50-60 kms, which was our plan. Breakfast was very good but dinner options in the local area were limited—we had dinner at the same place 3 out of 4 evenings.

It was amazing. Breakfast every morning was an adventure. Everything is homemade with something new as a surprise. Very central location to go and see all the sights in nearby places and then return "home", have a swim in the pool and just chill. As a single traveller, I never had one moment of feeling uncomfortably and lonely.

The only thing that would have made our stay a bit better is if food and drinks would have been offered in the afternoon or early evening.

The breakfast was exceptional - homemade partries, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses different coffees - anything you can think of. And the staff was very attentive and friendly.

A minor point: the breakfast buffet was very attractive, with many types of breads, croissants, cakes, breakfast cereals, etc, but for travellers on a low-carb diet, there were limited options. In particular, we would have appreciated a selection of fresh cheeses.

Fantastic location on top of a hill with fields all around. Very quiet. The pool is lovely. The hotel is in an old casale that has been beautifully renovated and furnished. There is ample space for activities, including indoors in case of rain or on cold evenings. The staff was very helpful.

What a lovely stay. Our hosts were excellent, really first class. Food exceptional. The place is animal friendly and whilst we didn't have a dog, others did. They were all very well behaved. Excellent situation to see Siena and the surrounding area. Would we return. YES

It wasn’t within walking distance of any restaurants or markets, but the quiet country atmosphere is what we were looking for, so this isn’t really a complaint. You just need to be aware if you don’t have your own transportation.

The buildings were beautiful and the interiors created a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent, plenty of choices and many homemade entrees. The host and hostess were personable and strived to make us comfortable, making sure that we were well taken care of.

Breakfast was amazing. A good selection of homemade sweet and savoury food. The salted water swimming pool was beautiful and quiet as was the scenery around. The owners are really lovely. They have chickens, horses and a friendly dog.

Not reall a matter of liking or disliking - you must have a car and it would be challenging without a GPS even though there are signs along the unpaved road through the fields that leads to the farm. Your car will be quite dusty after a single drive.

A secluded farm literally in the middle of nowhere - well, in the middle of a field. Wonderful hosts, truly excellent breakfast, a large and pleasant pool. My unit was spacious enough and everything was functional, including a small fridge. There is a row of parking spaces right outside the gate, but I was also able to enter the gate and drive right up to the unit to unload (and then load) the suitcase. Siena is a short drive away, so is Chiantigiana - the Chianti Road (that's how I arrived) - and do ask Luciano and Laura for dinner recommendations: they recommended two restaurants in nearby villages to me, about 5 minutes' drive away each - one was excellent, the other was nothing short of fabulous, and as a bonus both were local spots - not touristy at all.

We were searching for a peaceful retreat amidst the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The owners warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Everything was perfect, including the delicious homemade breakfast cakes. We were treated to a fantastic dinner buffet, which is organized periodically, showcasing the passion and attention to detail of the hosts and their love for good food. Here the sun really sings.

When I asked if we can use some plates and cutlery, owner asked me to pay 30 EUR, which I didn’t appreciate, so he eventually gave me plastic ones for free. Matress was not very comfortable.

Beautiful home in Tuscany with amazing pool and outdoor spaces! The owner lady is very nice and breakfast was good.

We stayed at the farm for three nights. The place is beautiful, located in the heart of green hills. Laura and Luciano are wonderful hosts who did everything necessary for us to be pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was missing. Highly recommend for travelers in the Tuscany area.

First of all the hosts Luciano and his wife Laura are exceptional hosts.Kind friendly and make you feel welcomed. Ready to help with anything you ask . Wonderful place for vacation . The room was very comfortable beds were comfy. Very clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good. Nice variety. The day we left we had to leave very early in the morning and could not have breakfast, so Laura prepared for us a thermos with coffee and a plate with Laura's great home made cookies. The hotel access road is worse, a lot of dust over the car after driving and the living room smells a little musty.

Luciano and Laura were fantastic. We felt at home after 1 day and were sad to leave. Breakfast was included, and there was amazing food. Eggs came from their own chickens, Laura made a different home made cake/muffins/insert delicious here every day - even today when I was alone(I left a day after my friends) she made an apple strudel which was still smoking hot. We will definitely come back - location is amazing and the ambience is fantastic.
