Staff of exceptional helpfulness and hospitality, always available to answer all questions. Special thanks to Corino - he made us feel like welcome guests. Perfect breakfast on the outdoor terrace. This was the best choice on the island of Capri - we will definitely do it again. Ideal for a slow vacation when you want to have a good rest. The villa is easily accessible by bus, scooter and car. To get into the town of Ahnacapri you have to take a bus or walk about 20 minutes. We ended up taking the bus multiple times a day to go see things on the island and also grab meals. It can get a bit tiring to have to go out by bus in the evening after a long day to get a meal.

This is an amazing place to stay in Ahnacapri. Family run business stuff are incredibly kind and friendly and helpful and you feel like you’re staying with relatives. Beautiful location with great views and a lovely pool. Amazing breakfasts taken on a patio overlooking the sea.

Absolutely gorgeous villa with gardens, stunning sea views and a swimming pool. Our room was perfect, quiet and cosy. Easy walk into Anacapri center and bus stop outside the gate — location was brilliant. Breakfast every day on the outdoor terrace was a lovely, delicious experience. Just perfect!

This place is simply AMAZING. It’s a family run business and they are just the nicest people and incredible hosts. They were always available to answer any questions, suggested brilliant places to eat in both Capri and Anacapri and gave us some excellent tips for hiking and generally getting around the island. Also the daily breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! Everything was homemade and made to order with so many choices. So generous. There are only six rooms so it’s never crowded, and at times you feel like the entire property is your own private Villa. The pool is magical and was always the perfect temperature. Would highly recommend staying here! We didn’t want to leave.

We spent a whole week at Il Carubo and everything’s was great. The hotel allow you to relax and enjoy a wonderful view over the Tyrrhenian sea. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace ; what’s more there are interesting hiking to do and the city is easily reachable by foot. Last but not least, Alice, Michael and Corino are truly great hosts, always helpful and available! 100% recommendation

Fantastic property on a great location. Short walk to Blue Cave or centre of Anacapri. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They also have a special website for guests with excellent tips & tricks. My wife and I travel a lot an mostly stay in nice hotels. This property matches (or exceeds) a 5 star hotel in all aspects.

Beautiful property overlooking the sea. Just far enough from the commotion to be peaceful but close enough to walk or take the bus into the Anacapri center. If your ferry arrives in the afternoon, they can provide pickup which makes the day so much easier. The owners are around all the time and run everything. They make breakfast to order each day, the pool is the perfect spot for relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I live in Naples and have been to Capri multiple times, but this is the best place I’ve stayed.

The stuff is very helpful and go out of their way to give the best service. Most of the staff are family/owners, and you can tell they are there to provide the best service. The location was a bit away from town, but the bus stop and taxis are easy to come by. Also, there is an excellent restaurant with a priceless sunset view walking distance from the hotel. Overall, the best nights we had in Italy. 10 out of 10.

There is quite literally nothing at this property that can be considered a negative. Our only wish is that we ate at the hotel more. The food they serve is out of this world!

This property offers it ALL. Private, well equipped rooms with ensuites, balconies and direct pool access. Small amount of people staying at the hotel - about 4 couples when we were there. The 3 staff their made it their absolute mission to make our stay THE most comfortable, but the property did so anyway - so their incredible attention to detail was a bonus. Breakfast daily is handmade, bespoke and local-level quality. Great coffee and fresh juices, chia puddings, eggs and tomatoes w/bacon…. In the afternoon - Aperols by the pool, bruschetta and olives, vino Bianco by the litre - this place is heaven. Quite literally the best valued hotel I’ve ever stayed in, ever. Cannot overstate the quality enough. Il Carrubo Capri - Sei il migliore!

Words fail to adequately describe the perfection of my stay at this hotel. It was genuinely a slice of paradise on earth. Not only was the room of unmatched comfort, but the view from the windows of the room was simply breathtaking - a gorgeous pool and the splendor of the sea on the same view. From the moment we arrived at the bus stop, we were warmly welcomed by one of the hotel's three managers. They not only ensured our transportation to the hotel, but also took the time to transport us to our next destination. Their generosity and commitment to our comfort added a truly personal touch that made our stay even more special. The room was simply divine. The soothing ambiance created by the careful decoration, impeccable cleanliness, and comforting smell immediately made us feel at ease. Every detail was designed to provide us with the utmost comfort and make us feel at home. As for the proposed itinerary, it was perfectly suited to our length of stay and our budget. It was a real pleasure to discover the places recommended by the managers, who demonstrated exceptional local knowledge. The highlight of each day was undoubtedly the customized breakfast. It was prepared according to our wishes and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food offered. Every bite was a delight, getting our day off to a great start. Nothing - everything was amazing.

Everything. Il Carrubo is perfection. From the moment you go through the gates from the road and walk down the driveway you feel like you are taken into a beautiful peaceful oasis. The owners and managers are so kind, friendly and helpful, the pool is divine (we were often the only ones there, and they’ll bring you drinks and snacks if you ask), it is away from the madness of the main area, and a lovely spot to watch the sunset. The breakfast and the coffee was amazing, and the lunch - omg we are still dreaming about the lemon pasta and espresso (best coffee in our lives!). The kitchen isn’t open late but that is fine as Anacapri isn’t far. We hired a scooter which made it easy to get around the island. Everything was outstanding, it is honestly Anacapri’s best kept secret, we cannot wait to return.

We absolutely loved the stay. Super serene, cosy, away from the crowds. Incredibly attentive owners, who are very invested into making the stay unforgettable, very welcoming, fixers. The food is awesome, breakfasts are so hearty and filling. The property is very tasteful, beautiful pool and clean well-designed rooms. Will come back 100%. In my opinion best money for value if you want to go to Capri without staying in the actual city. Felt like we were staying at our old friends thanks to the attention and personal touches.

If paradise had a name it would be called Il Carrubo! I'm lacking words to describe the beauty and vibration of this place... The grounds are amazing and the pool area is oh so beautiful with stunning views. 6 bedrooms nested in a beautifully secluded place with a bus stop right in front of the property. The breakfast is simply AMAZING... This pearl is managed by Corino, Alicia and Michele who are the best hosts I've ever had... Thank you for who you are, what you do and how you make your guests feel. Il Carrubo is not a hotel it's an experience. Can't wait to be back! ❤️

We spent four nights at the hotel. Too little time

Location is great. Nice 30 min walk to Anacapri. The hotel is away from Capri day crowd, quiet and relaxed. At the same time you can reach all Capri buzz within 30 min by bus or taxi. We never expected so many gorgeous hikes available on the island. Breakfast was very good with fresh squeezed mixed juice different every day. Any style eggs to order. Tasty tomatoes salad as a side dish. The staff is great. The guys go out and beyond to make your stay special and give a feeling of staying with the family. All their recommendations were perfect.
