Well located accommodation in the heart of the lovely Tropea, very close to the beach as well as to all the bars and restaurants. Nice breakfast with both sweet and salty options. Ferdinando is very friendly and helpful.

The balcony is really a french balcony. But I didn’t mind, the view over the harbour and the hills was still breathtaking.

The appartment was beautiful, the high ceilings gave the impression of almost being in a small church. First when I came in, I was met by the amazing big old window that brought in so much light in the hallway that separated the bathroom with the rest of the appartment (still private!). Even though the appartment is very big, I had great wifi throughout the appartment. The interior was very nicely done, mixing old big furnitures (like the wardrobe) with newer but still fitting furniture, like the bed. The appartment has the best location in the old town, it was quiet and calm but still around the corner from all the good restaurants and bars. The host, Ferdinando, was very helpful with any questions that I had and had some good inside tips for restaurants etc.

The property has air conditioning, but it only cools the two conjoined bedrooms. I’m saying that the bedrooms were nice and cool and comfortable to sleep in. Though the space was huge, the furniture could use updating as it wasn’t very comfortable.

The property was perfectly situated. Everything in town is within easy walking distance. The stairs to the beach are also very close, but note they are steep. We stayed in an apartment in a separate building. The unit was huge and provided a great space for our family of four to spread out. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast or a quick lunch. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus! The balcony allowed for lots of fresh air and a nice view of the port.

Most everything worked well. The only thing we had a bit of trouble with was adjusting the shower head but we managed to move it around to be useable. Still worth a 10/10 overall in my opinion.

The location is excellent, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony with the views on the hillsides and on the port. One thing that stood out was how our host Ferdinando went above and beyond, including when we had to extend our stay and he found us a solution as this apartment was already rented to other guests. We are so thankful!

The shower was small - but that europe a little dated - but for price and location it was okay

location was great, Ferdinando was very helpful and friendly, the water in the fridge made me super happy as most places don’t provide this simple thing. the beds were very comfortable.

Ferdinando made our stay great. Been to Tropea many times, luggage and parking is a pain. He made it smooth and easy. Great room, great host, great 3 days.

I'd prefer a bit softer mattress.

Unique apartment in the Tropea downtown. You feel like you live in the early 19th century. Close to the beach (not counting a lot of steps to get there). Good restaurants right at the apartment door.

the drain of the shower was a little too slow for the flow of water. the radio controller in the shower does not function fully.

the host was very amicable and courteous and the location is just off the main cathedral which is excellent . the room has good facilities including an umbrella to take to the beach, a minibar and radio shower. Although the rate is slightly on the high side, it was all worth it during the peak season. Breakfast was superb and plentiful.

Be careful about the fee for parking. They want it in cash and don’t tell you you don’t really need to keep your car in their spot. Or let you know it’s $20 a day.

Misrepresentation of the advertising. You can’t sleep from 5am as the water tank fills up making a very loud noise.

It has many misrepresentations in the advertising on booking.com including seaview. There is a lovely mountain view but the Seaview is only visible if you lean out the window.
