Room with a fantastic view of the sea.

There was a steep staircase to access the property which I don’t remember being mentioned. The toilet needed repair as the seat was very loose.

The property was right next to a very rare beach in this area. Our room was the family room with a balcony. This is vital as I wouldn’t have wanted to be in one of the other rooms. Our room meant you could sleep with sound of the sea just across the pedestrianised road. Room was basic but large with enough storage space for all our clothes as there were only two of us. It was just a short walk to the railway station, vital for getting around the other villages. There was a car park close which is rare but expensive at 25euro a day.

The only thing that could have been better was to get a room with a balcony but those book up months in advance as she only has six or seven rooms . It also would be nice to have a real queen sized bed instead of two singles pushed together but everyone in Europe does that!!

The location was perfect!! It is within walking distance of the train station. Rafaella, the owner or manager, was lovely too! The view is spectacular and there’s a great restaurant right downstairs.

Sheets were a bit stained but not a huge deal. Also you’ll be able to hear when next door room flushes the toilet as the flush is loud but you can’t hear people talking really.

The room had a nice private patio with a garden view! Water pressure in the shower was great and it was steps away from the beach and many restaurants.

Lovely seaside view and convenient location close to the beach, station and some restaurants. The room had all the facilities we would need and there was a nice patio area overlooking the sea.

No cons really.

The location and views from my room were superb. I do recommend staying there. It's not fancy, but every time I opened my bedroom windows there was no place I would rather be.

Staff didn’t speak much English so weren’t able to provide any recommendations or information on local bike hire etc (I’d recommend even a page of recommendations in a few languages - even a map of the area would have been great). No iron available to borrow.

There isn't a maned reception which caused us a little concern to start with, but once we got in touch with the staff member, they quickly came to assist us. Could not have helped us more.

They had everything we could possibly need such as beech towels and beech umbrellas as well as small toileteries such as pouch of shampoo and a small razor. The staff were caring and kind. The location could not have been better, right on the beech front and next to the station. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again if in the cinque terre..

The location was exceptional and while the room was basic it had everything you need. The train was close but you never heard it, restaurants and the beach literally outside your front door. Would definitely stay again!!

Hallway was smelly The staff was not pleasant -hung up on me while we were trying to find the office -in the pouring rain cleaner would not allow us into our room so we could change for our lunch -we were made to wait 20 min & almost were late for our booking

Communication was a bit awkward and the office locked when we arrived. Stairs steep and hand rail loose. No breakfast offered or information about the restaurant downstairs. Couldn't leave the window open when the restaurant was operating due to the smell.

Superb location opposite the beach. Beautiful view. Very clean neat and simple room. Recently renovated ensuite bathroom with a good shower. Beach towels and umbrella provided. Excellent air-conditioning. Secure property with few rooms. Comfortable bed.

Fantastic location right on the beach strip at Monterosso al Mare. If you can, practice a little a Italian and the hostess warms up immensely

There was no detachable shower/douche head, so it was really hard to clean the sand. It definitely feels like it needs some renovations, but it was good for one evening. Sadly, the check-out hours are too early.

Early checkout. Tip for tourists with luggage is to use the Pro Loco Tourist office for luggage storage after 9am.

the entrance to the bathroom is kind of uncomfortable and we got the garden view so the room is dark, although the sitting area outside is nice.
