We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe walls of the hotel were a bit thin, so I was able to hear a woman coughing and a man snoring in adjacent rooms. But this was only for a brief period and it did not disturb my sleep.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and very tolerant of my poor Italian language skills. They let me leave my bag at the hotel before I checked in, which was really appreciated. Check-in went very smoothly.

PortugalNothing special to mention, except the internet, which was weak in the room. We had to go to the stairwell to get a good signal. After a long hard ride and taking a shower you want to update your online diary with pictures of your experiences, and you prefer to do that from your bed, so you can rest.
It was our 16th night of our 21-day cycle tour, Via Francigena, from Gran Bernardo to Rome. We knew that the location was along the main road, but it was a very quiet place. The shower was good after a long hot cycle ride, and the beds were good. We were able to store our bikes in the locked garage below the accommodation. Thank you. We had a good dinner in the accompanying restaurant. And at 07h00 in the morning the bar is open for coffee.

GermanyThe hotel is on the main road next to the village. Not a lot of traffic (we could sleep with open windows during the night), but half the rooms sit right above the gas station: not exactly a pleasant view on a trip through Tuscany. Abou 10-15' stroll to the city center.
Budget accomodation: not great, not terrible. Reserved parking by the hotel was comfortable. Facilities are very basic, but nothing unacceptable.

In the object there is restaurant, the personel is positive and they have best shower gel in the world. Although location is not in the center, the town is small and all location are close. We like it and recommand 👌

United StatesI knew I would be arriving late, 9:15pm. I had messaged the property to let them know. I also specifically chose a hotel so that my late arrival would not be a problem. When I arrived no one was there, it was completely closed down, with all the lights off (and raining). There was a note on the door with 5 phone numbers. I messaged them all and after about 30 minutes one of them responded with “I’m camping”. Another 20 minutes so by and finally I am able to contact someone who sends someone over about 20 minutes after that. When I left in the morning I was charged an additional 10 euros. The place itself is your standard crappy room. Beds are hard, heat didn’t work, shower was dirty. There are SO many other great places to stay. Don’t stay here

BrazilUncomfortable beds, inappropriate bath towels, not to mention the lack of respect for guests, the restaurant downstairs operates until late at night, making noise in the rooms upstairs, making it impossible for guests to sleep. The lack of respect from the restaurant's patrons is limitless, after closing the restaurant, they stayed in front of the hotel talking and laughing loudly until 2 am. I cannot classify Garibaldi as a hotel that can be frequented by tourists, it needs quality to reach the level of a tourist hotel.
