A hidden gem! The upstairs king room is amazing, beautifully appointed including fresh flowers and an huge bathroom & walk in shower. Breakfast was the best in Tuscany primarily due to Cristina! She was so gracious & generous. Location was perfect. Actually- a perfect wedding spot. Only place we’d stay in Val d’Orcia!

Not a thing....perfection in everyvway

Everything..Christine is an amazing host who treats her guests like Royalty in this Castle...From the room furnishings to the delicious fresh and bountiful breakfast our stay was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Italy. In the future we will try to book The Suite...an incredibly large 2 room environment with a wall to wall glass shower...fit for a King and Queen.

Christina was there every morning, cooking breakfast and answering questions.. The room itself was beautiful.The internet was good. It's a very historic castle. We stayed in a couple different castles, but this one was by far the best.

would be great if more intro of amenities/surrounding of the property (e.g. garden) are provided (guess due to language). would be great if amenities (toothbrush, shampoos etc) are supplemented every day. need to carry luggages by stairs (for 1 floor) can accept though.

the property which was a historic castle was beautiful, and the owners did a great job renovating the interior. The suite was sizable, and comes with a kitchen which was very handy, as it takes a bit of drive to find restaurants nearby. the breakfast was nicely prepared in a beautiful dining area. appreciate the reservation and complimentary tour to the winery! the owner family was very friendly;) location was not in the hussle and bustle of Tuscany but very convenient to travel to places (Pienza, Montepulciano, etc) and i appreciate the quiteness of the property.

This Hotel was amazing. The Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to there Suite for no extra money. This was a five Star experience. The Breakfast was really really good. They really payed attention to detail. I highly recommend this Hotel.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the suite and it was amazing. We appreciated their attention to detail. Ample space for two people and had a kitchenette where we cooked some meals. Staff was helpful and the morning breakfasts were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to stay again! Cristina was a wonderful host, my husband was particularly happy with her homemade omlettes each morning, and everything was just lovely. The room was decorated so tastefully with little special touches everywhere. You can see the care that goes into taking care of each guest in every corner of this gorgeous property. I loved the peacefulness of the garden area, especially at sunset, and could have stayed there for hours. Thank you again for a fabulous stay!

Beautiful castle in the Val d’orcia. Good base camp to visit Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, and San Quirico d’Orcia. Room was spotless, staff was great, breakfast very well done, nice sunset view garden in the back. Great authentic pasta restaurant next door.

Staying in this hotel was magical. Stunning grounds and castle. Rooms are classic with modern touches, beautifully decorated and clean. Very thoughtful additions to the room (ex. shoe cleaner, makeup remover pads). Breakfast was diverse and delicious with local products available. What a fantastic base from which to visit southern Tuscany. Christina was a lovely host and namely helped us to bring our luggage up to our room. Very close to Pienza and a short drive to many other towns. Would have loved to have stayed here longer.

Perfect stay in a castle with all the modern amenities. There is no lift but host helps you carry the suitcases. It is very clean in a very beautiful location and the Cherry on the cake is the breakfast which is made and served with love.
