I may have never stayed at a place as magical and special as this hotel at Spedaletto. I can't say enough about the room, the view of the Tuscany Val D'Orcia from my window, the beautifully landscaped pool, the decor and bedding, breakfast, and owners/staff who were so helpful and kind. I sincerely hope to visit again.

I would return a thousand times where I loved it, and everything was perfect. A comfortable, clean, perfurmed was remarkable. A good surprise was that the bathroom was equipped with several things you may need (I've never seen that in another hotel). The breakfast was fantastic, and we could order bruschettas and omelets at the moment. In summary, the best hotel breakfast I've ever could taste. Regina, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful. The is a jacuzzi in the back of the hotel where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view in front of you.

EVERYTHING! Do not hesitate to book this room if it’s available. Perfect location if you want to explore Val d’Orcia. The hotel itself is absolutely fantastic. One of my all time favourite stays ever. The exterior grounds are so beautiful and designed with a perfect balance of respect for the landscape and modern relaxing facilities. The room was so nice. Really comfortable and homely but also felt special. The bed and pillows and bedding was super comfortable. Great shower, all that stuff was great. Cristina and her daughter were so amazing. such nice people. So helpful and really really kind. They totally make the stay a special memory! respectful of your privacy but there to help and offer advice if you need it. The breakfast was superb. Overall. Perfect place to stay if you have a car and want to explore an enthralling landscape. Excellent distance from some wonderful locations, and a place to look forward to coming home to. Some amazing restaurants in nearby towns (literally 5/10 minutes by car). I have no single negative word to say about Il Mastio!!

What’s not to love in this stunning medieval castle B&B run by a sweet host who also happens to be a wonderful cook (Christina’s breakfasts were the best!)? The place was filled with little personal touches and well appointed, all in a location absolutely ideal for exploring Tuscany’s wine country and its picturesque hill towns. Add in a roaming castle kitty and you’ve sent me to heaven. We’ll definitely be back!

situated in an ancient castle at the beautiful Val d’Orcia region, we had a great time at this lovely place. Room is spacious and spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. The hostess Christina and her daughter Bernadetta are super friendly and warm. They even helped to get air pump for our car when one of tires had low pressure.

It's a castle! What more can I say? The breakfast was spectacular. The rooms and the atmosphere were the most beautiful we've experienced. The setting is magical and the customer service was above and beyond.

Nothing it is perfect, no joke!

Wow what a place! The castle you stay in is incredible and so are the grounds and views! Not to mention a jacuzzi, incredible staff (the family that owns it) and cute kitties walking around. Absolutely incredible place! Breakfast is delicious too- we have nothing bad we can say about this place. HIGHLY recommend!

Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of cakes, fruits, pancakes, etc. They take good care of their guests. Next, the B&B is situated in a good location to discover the area (Pienza, Montalcino, Monticchiello, etc.). We would recommend this place to everyone

Everything was great! The bathroom contained everything you need (basically more than you can think of). A lot of options for breakfast and the garden had a great view. We felt very welcome and the service was outstanding. Such a kind family!

The property and location is just exceptional and such a great experience to stay there. By itself it’s already a touristic attraction with a lot of things to discover :) The breakfast is amazing, the garden with Jacuzzi makes the stay an unforgettable one! Cristina and her daughter are just great hosts and we totally enjoyed our stay there! Totally recommended

It was exceptional. felt like a princess. The woman in charge heard it was my BDay and she left Prosecco with strawberries, with a lovely hand, written note, saying happy birthday. I can not recommend this property more it was over the top.
