We had an amazing stay in the suite. The room was simply perfect and the staff extremely friendly. The breakfast was excellent, especially Cristina's home-made cakes!

The location was excellent .Breakfast was homemade , the room was very clean with all the comforts, like a small refrigerator ,the owner Christina was very kind and helpful ,and very willing to give all the information we asked. Best place to stay in Toscany. Highly recommended!!!!!

If you’re unable to climb a few stairs or if you need to be in the middle of the vacation ‘action’ This isn’t for you. The location is on a country road 4 or more kilometers from literally anything. Some will find it remote. (We did not. We quickly learned there was plenty to see and do, though needing a minimum 10 min drive.)

The property is a quaint one-time castle. Our room was spacious, well lit, fixtures etc were very functional. Breakfast is included and it is quite complete- but more importantly is Christina, who is a wonderful presence and all too happy to cook pretty much anything that isn’t already laid out for guests. She is also the pastry chef assuring abt a dozen cakes, torts and cookies. The location is dead quiet. Note: There is a separately run lunch-only restaurant that serves excellent local pasta. Obv Pienza and Montepulciano are great day trips. We found little Bagno Vignoni (15 mins away) to be a great place.

A hidden gem! The upstairs king room is amazing, beautifully appointed including fresh flowers and an huge bathroom & walk in shower. Breakfast was the best in Tuscany primarily due to Cristina! She was so gracious & generous. Location was perfect. Actually- a perfect wedding spot. Only place we’d stay in Val d’Orcia!

Not a thing....perfection in everyvway

Everything..Christine is an amazing host who treats her guests like Royalty in this Castle...From the room furnishings to the delicious fresh and bountiful breakfast our stay was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Italy. In the future we will try to book The Suite...an incredibly large 2 room environment with a wall to wall glass shower...fit for a King and Queen.

Christina was there every morning, cooking breakfast and answering questions.. The room itself was beautiful.The internet was good. It's a very historic castle. We stayed in a couple different castles, but this one was by far the best.

This Hotel was amazing. The Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to there Suite for no extra money. This was a five Star experience. The Breakfast was really really good. They really payed attention to detail. I highly recommend this Hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to stay again! Cristina was a wonderful host, my husband was particularly happy with her homemade omlettes each morning, and everything was just lovely. The room was decorated so tastefully with little special touches everywhere. You can see the care that goes into taking care of each guest in every corner of this gorgeous property. I loved the peacefulness of the garden area, especially at sunset, and could have stayed there for hours. Thank you again for a fabulous stay!

Beautiful castle in the Val d’orcia. Good base camp to visit Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, and San Quirico d’Orcia. Room was spotless, staff was great, breakfast very well done, nice sunset view garden in the back. Great authentic pasta restaurant next door.
