Small shower and missing hooks for wet towels. On our second day it seemed they were missing staff to serve coffee and breakfast. These are small details, and could happen anywhere of course. Overall this hotel was great!

Perfect hotel in Taormina. It was very central and easy to access. The staff were friendly, responsive and accommodating. The rooftop patio and pool offered fantastic views of Taormina, the sea and the ancient theatre. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and relaxing with outdoor seating.

Lovely tranquil retreat from the bustle of Taormina. Excellent location, with a lovely garden and roof top pool (which is very small, although the view from the terrace is fabulous!). The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast too! Highly recommended!

The shower's water pressure was a little low and the water went from being really hot to chilly. Apart than that, it was fantastic.

Lovely yard with lemon trees, very friendly and helpful personnel. Giulia and Vincenzo were excellent. Excellent location. Good breakfast.

Noise travelling between rooms and from the corridor. The walls seemed not to be insulated. We were there on rainy days/evenings, but only Italian TV stations and could not cast from our phones to the TV.

Great location and the valet parking was very useful. Breakfast was very good, many choices available.

All was good

The property is located only 300m away from Porta Messina and the UNESCO World Heritage Greek theatre and is in a quiet street just off the main Corso Umberto I. Despite being so centrally situated, you may also drop off your luggage from a back entrance, easily reached by the Circonvalenzione circuit road. The room was very comfortable and well-lit - we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful.

Lack of hooks in the bathroom frustrating . Lift wasn’t always working but was always fixed quickly.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and there was a wide choice of food for breakfast . Very quiet despite being in the middle of the town. Valet parking worked well.

The bedroom was perfectly adequate and very clean. There wasn’t a whole lot of storage - this wasn’t too much of an issue for us as we travelled light, but at least for our room there wasn’t really the opportunity to ‘unpack’. Likewise, if you’re planning some beach days space for drying bathing suits/ towels was limited - we made use of the shower stall to hang things.

The location is absolutely fantastic - literally steps away from the main street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful but the cherry on top was eating it in a beautiful garden, just a lovely way to start the day. The roof deck has the most incredible view over the town and out to sea - we were out exploring every day but it would have been a perfect place to chill out with a beer or Aperol in the sun, or watch the sunset.

The location was fantastic. Right in the heart of Taormina town. 3 star hotel so not expensive and a bit run down but exactly what we wanted. Regret not getting a taxi from the station. A big walk up hill but you don’t know until you get there Very good breakfast in the garden which was lovely So pleased we chose to stay up in the town and not down at the beach. I loved the pool on the rooftop. Main reason I chose this hotel. Lovely view from up there.

The pictures of the hotels facilities and rooms do not reflect the actuality. The rate of what to me was a basic glorified b&b with cold coffee left me thinking id been ripped off, rarely have I posted negative reports and have not done so now without consideration but the final straw was the electrics tripping out a couple of times on the floor our room was on and no reason supplied plus the lift was not always functioning properly.

The hotel is in a good position being just above the main street and near to the bus stops for getting around.and the reception staff very helpful. however thats as good as it gets. We much enjoyed the area, the town the ambience and would happily go back to taormina

Just a couple of minor points. We booked the top floor suite and on reflection, although it was handy for the roof top pool, we didn't have the benefit of a balcony. Also, very misleading - in the description on booking.com it states that there is a private pool as well as the rooftop pool - this is not the case as there is no private pool! Also, although there are free toiletries, these are limited to a small table of soap and shampoo - no conditioner or body lotion - which i think is pretty standard in most hotels nowadays. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which would have been a nice touch. One other negative is that the shower (over the bath) is actually in the bedroom with no door or shower curtain - so not a great deal of privacy which could be awkward depending on who you're sharing with...!

The hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping and the cable car to the beach (15 minute walk). The rooftop pool, although very small, was a godsend to have in a central hotel and was in fact the main reason for booking this particular hotel. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of fruits, pastries, breads, cold meats etc.
