We knew in advance that the Restaurants were closed for a few days, however, it’s not ideal to reach the small town by foot as there was no pave way and the street is very dark

The car park didn't do the hotel any favors for 1st impressions scruffy things abandoned room was mot ready left waiting over an hour so went for a swim that was lovely and views over water but nowhere to get a drink no bar or coffee offered but coffee in room , meal was fine but very expensive and wine expensive but saying this enjoyed the surroundings this hotel could do such better if attention to detail,

..there were quite a few spiders on the balcony roof but I suppose that is pretty normal in such warm and humid conditions.

All rooms have a balcony with a view to the lake. There’s also a free parking lot right next to the hotel. We spend in our clean and spacious room for two nights and loved our stay.

we arrived by train and there are no taxis or way of getting to the hotel without a terrifying walk up the road with no sidewalk. not far but not safe.

stunning lake side location and fabulous staff and both restaurants are awesome. the passion that goes into the menu and food are second to none.

Restaurants shut during the daytime (only open for breakfast / dinner). Breakfast was continental. A car is useful / preferable as a few kilometres out of town.

Needed more storage space in room. There was not a bar. Walk from the hotel to Laveno was along a road which is partly unpaved with blind bends. Owner was not at all welcoming. Mostly ignored us unless we specifically had an issue that needed dealing with.

Comfortable rooms. Great view from room terrace across lake and mountains beyond. Nice pool. Most reception and chambermaid staff friendly.

Beautiful location, friendly environment with a family feel, very accommodating staff, beautiful pool with lake view, spacious rooms again with beautiful lake view, and the restaurant was simply amazing, a real treat! I highly recommend it for a relaxing time away!

The walk to the town was about 15mins but along a busy road with no pavement so at night it could be dangerous. The hotel had no atmosphere, it was quite gloomy. The main restaurant was far too expensive and the other one was uninspiring. The manager was rather unfriendly.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE - Family owned hotel & spa, on the lake. Human size. Sympathatic team. Restaurant is excellent and the wine card is just crazy ! The spa is brand new, nice swimming pool, with sauna, turkish bath, showers, transat with view on the lake. Nice room all with view on the lake and montain. Nice parking even for big car... WE DO RECOMMAND THAT PLACE !

The only minor complaint - sometimes there was air conditioning noise from the kitchen!

Breakfast was fantastic, especially on the terrace over the lake. Our room (with a view of the lake) was spacious and always clean. The owners were very helpful, thank you.
