Many have described this hotel to be situated in a quiet location. Whilst I would agree mostly with that, our room overlooked a side street, which even towards 11-12pm, still had motorbikes driving down it. You could also hear all the noise from the main road, including the relentless motorbikes and cars beeping at each other, which made for a not so peaceful experience. Our 1st night was made extra noisy by some people who returned to the hotel fairly late and were making a horrendous amount of noise! Lots of laughing and loud talking. Bit of a shame no staff intervened to ask them to keep the noise down. We think the same group of people were also very noisy early the next morning whilst checking out. The walls also seem to be very thin in this hotel. Someone in the room next to ours had a nasty cough and you could hear it very loudly. If you are a heavy sleeper, I'm sure none of this would be a problem but I do suggest ear plugs if you are troubled by noise when sleeping. The room also lacked storage space. We were in a standard room which did have a fairly large wardrobe but only 4 coat hangers between the 2 of us and no draws. There is also a real lack of shelving, so very few places to put things. We basically lived out of our cases for 4 nights. The shower, although very spacious was also extremely lackluster. I am not sure if this was due to the poor plumbing in Italy or the hotel itself. There was a lot of water spurting out of where the hose connected. Could of been why there was a lack of pressure. It took a long time to get the right water temperature. This was quite frustrating, including when you try to get cold water when cleaning teeth. The toilet seat was also not fitted correctly, meaning every time you sat down you moved around.

The location of this hotel is very good. I would highly recommend it for visitors to Naples for the first time, as the centre of Naples is real shock to the senses. The hotel was easy to find. There is no big sign for it, however if put the address into google maps and search street view it gives you a clear indication of where the big wooden door is, just opposite the American embassy building. If the door is closed the staff are very good at buzzing you back in, no matter the time of day. Chiaia is a more relaxed area of Naples, only a stones throw away from the sea front, with plenty of restaurants roughly a 20 minute walk away towards Santa Lucia. The centre can be reached by either bus or the metro (the metro was a little complicated to understand, but once you get used to it, it's not to bad to navigate). Our hotel room was fairly spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, one of the best hotel beds we've ever slept on. The memory foam mattress topper was wonderful. The room also has very good air con and a fridge which is technically a mini bar but good for storing your own drinks in. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful and there wasn't anything that was to much trouble. We requested a taxi on the morning we checked out to take us to the airport and they organised all this for us and it all went very smoothly. They even made us a breakfast bag to take away with us which was full of food and drink. Very kind of them. The taxi was a fixed rate price, which was a real relief, as I'd read you often have to barter a price with the driver if you take a taxi on the side of the road, which I should imagine can be difficult if there is a language barrier. The breakfast at the hotel was very nice. A small selection of hot and cold food, including sweet treats, fruit, cereals, hot and cold meats, scrambled eggs and juices. They will also make you fresh coffee, tea and toast.

Staff of hotel is incredingbly friendly,hospitable and always willing to help and give excellent recommendation. They went above and beyond to make us happy,nothing was a problem for them. Location of hotel is great,on the nice promenade with bus stations just in front of hotel. We definetely recommend Il Salotto della Regina.

We didn't like the city itself and this property was on a very busy couple of streets. Crossing the road and getting around was a bit difficult.

The hotel itself was nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and parking was arranged with a nearby garage (albeit a bit expensive). Would stay again if we came back.

Room was facing the main road. Though most noise was shut out, heavy traffic honking could be heard.

Newly designed boutique hotel. Love the old lift in the building. High bed. Huge TV. Spacious bathroom that comes with an option of white or flashing colorful lights (very interesting). Lovely breakfast area. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The hotel corridors were noisy when people came and went at night.

The staff were incredible. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The location was very good. It was close to the waterfront and in a safe area. It was also very close to the metro so it was easy to get to and from the main train station.

This botique hotel is located down the street from the American Consulate and from Naples' amazing waterfront. It's on the first floor of a historic building with a typical courtyard. The hotel staff was VERY nice and welcoming - my wife had just torn multiple knee ligaments just a few days before and she was traveling with crutches and a wheelchair: they gave us a free upgrade to a larger room to better accommodate her. The room was nice, the shower was very spacious and I loved the lighting in the bathroom. Although the balcony faced the main street, I could not hear any noise from outside and in the morning I woke up to an amazing view of the gulf with mt. Vesuvius in the background. Special mention to the breakfast room: the original ceilings are breathtaking, and the whole room is just extremely beautiful and it was all decorated for Christmas so it felt very cozy and welcoming in the morning. The breakfast selection was also on point (the pastries are just on another level). I have to go back to Napoli soon and I will definitely try to stay there again!

Marco was so kind to us! We were having problems getting through to our airline to complete the check in process, and he finally was able to get us connected on the house phone. It was such a frustrating process, but he generously brought me a Spritz because he could see I needed one!! The room was beautifully designed and the bed super comfy! We had an early morning flight, so Marco booked us an early taxi, and even provided cappuccini and boxed breakfasts since we were leaving before the breakfast room was due to open! I highly recommend

An absolutely great stay! Beautiful and very clean hotel in a beautiful location of Napoli. The staff was extremely welcoming and went beyond expectations to make us feel welcomed. They were always willing to suggest places to eat and visit and were available 24/7 if needed. Anytime we saw the receptionist, they always offered us a coffee! Breakfast was very delicious as well! We will be staying here again.

The hallway light stays on all night so it does illuminate the room a far bit but nothing that would stop you from getting to sleep

It can be challenging to find the hotel as it is inside a courtyard building but fortunately in a previous review, I was able to learn more about this. For someone so small, it was hard to get onto the bed which is very raised up - however it was very comfortable but could have benefitted from some cushions to allow you to sit up.

Amazing staff - Fortuna, Marco and Maria were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern.
