Very nicely restored historical building with high ceilings and lots of character. Spotless clean. Central location for sightseeing with many restaurants to choose from nearby. Nice breakfast in a charming café next door. Cozy rooftop terrace with tables for eating outside if one brings takeaway food (or cooks if renting an apartment there). Very friendly and accommodating hostess.

Loved it all, but do not deadlock your door when you leave - just close! My friends made that mistake & it took a circular saw to get back in! Hosts very accommodating but suggest warning guests of this!

We rented two apartments here and I could not say enough great things about how lovely, large, well equipped and well located this place was. Thank you Luca & Maria. Highly recommend this for your visit - SO much space!

If you have more luggage (e.g. with children) it is a bit tricky to get your stuff from and to the car, since there is no direct accessible street to the building (it's in a pedestrian area of the town), but the closest street to unload your car is not too far.

Nice little hotel in perfect city center location. Great roof terrace for all guests. Very friendly staff.

My only issue was street noise in the night from other English tourists. Their drunken shouting mad me embarrassed for them, and that's hardly the hotel's fault

Friendly owners and staff who gave some excellent local recommendations for food, sightseeing etc. An excellent location for central Cagliari, with a characterful building but all fittings and furnishings new and in good working order.

The room was marked as having a workspace but there wasn't a desk which could be used for working.

Really friendly place, perfect location close to loads of shops and restaurants. Really nice room, spacious with nice decor. Lovely terrace to watch sunset from.

Nothing. All was good. If you have mobility issues, be aware that some rooms are mezzanines and the bed is upstairs, and the Steps can be tricky for some people. There is a sofa bed in the lower level though.

Great location, very clean and comfortable huge room. The hosts are very nice and gave a lot of recommendations. The building has a lift (even though starting on the first floor) and this is a very nice surprise.

Janna's e Mare has an excellent location, close to Old Town and all restaurants but also close to the sea. Street is quiet, closed for cars. Building and room has traditional features, but everything was renovated and modern, very comfortable. You can also use an outside area on the terrace - very quiet and cozy. Service was excellent, Hosts are very helpfull. As a bonus, breakfast which was included was handled by La Piccola Caffetteria just 1min away from Guesthouse - very nice ambience with unique featured wall made from natural rock. Very much recomended!

Beautiful apartment in amazing central location ! The rooms are very nicely decorated with arty touch, the beds are so comfortable and it’s sparkling clean. The roof top terrace is a bonus! We couldn’t taste breakfast unfortunately as we had to leave very early in the morning but we wish to stay longer & enjoy this sweet place 😍

The bed was on the upper floor which was nice but AC doesn’t reach there so it was hot compared to the enterance floor.

The room was very beatiful and clean. It also has a nice street view.

What not to like about staying at Janna ‘e Mare. Service is exceptional. Location is perfect- you are in the middle of city center. Don’t be scared with the noise- windows shut down everything. Owners are so pleasant and really helpful with all the suggestions, advices and tips. Cleaning is also spot on. Rooms have air con (really important)!!! But top floor terrace is really nice and cute place to have breakfast or dinner.

Might become a little noisy in the street below at times, but didn't bother me much. Also, be aware that there is a flight of steps till you get to the elevator. Not much, but be aware of it if stairs are a problem for you.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great, close to pedestrian areas, restaurants and sea. If you don't mind having beds on 2 different floors, I would choose room no.5 rather than 1 as it's more quiet and bathroom is more comfortable. Recommended.
