The hotel is lovely some of the breakfast staff could have been a bit more happy. Also maybe name badges could have helped

Location was good, quiet but five minutes from coast. Breakfast room was lovely, good breakfast, some of the staff weren’t smilie although one man was lovely. The day we arrived the young lady on reception was great, spoke good English and was so helpful, gave us some good recommendations for places to eat.

The street noise was excessive for me the first night (the only drawback of the location) and it was a little dirty (nothing major). As it was a hotel I expected a bit more forwardness of the staff at registration - offering up the Wi-Fi password without having to be asked, offering to book a massage (which they offer), or asking if I needed any other tourist support. I’m certain they would have been very helpful if I asked but I didn’t and wasted a bit of time figuring things out on my own (so that is really on me).

The location was convenient - an easy walk to the train station and water. The staff were friendly. The room was nicely sized and they restocked water in the refrigerator daily. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Excellent location, close to old town and great restaurants. Perfect position between Rapallo & Portofino, within easy walking distance. Very clean, comfortable, fantastic breakfast with great variety of dishes. Highly recommend it, will come back.

It is an old hotel, looks better on pictures than in real life. It needs to be renovated. There was a constante noise in our room. Also the spa was closed. The receotionist told us the wifi is now an upgrade. I mean what hotel has no wifi nowadays. So was not happy at all with their compensation in return of the closed spa.

Nothing - it was great. Deserves more than 3 stars.

Excellent customer service. Staff let us leave our luggage after check out and kept it safe while we visited Potofino. The breakfast was excellent and staff were happy to assist - filled up my drink bottle with I w for the day and kept topping up and cleaning buffet. There was a fridge in the room and a heated towel rail in bathroom which dried out washing over night.

The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and the pillows were awful too. It was 40 degrees and the air con was not sufficient for the room and really didn’t work. Sleeping was not easy!
