It is a bit expensive if you have a car, you must add 15 euros per day for a nearby well secured parking. Beds could be a little bit more confortable.

The balcony with the view were exceptional, breakfast was good, friendly staff, location was perfect! Everything was clean.

The return the electricity key every time you leave the room so you can't leave anything charging in the room, such mobile phones etc, and anything that needs charging unless you are in the room :( The shower in our room was also very small. The view from the terrace in the back rooms, is not really a view to a garden.

Very pleasant hotel in Mazzaro (not in Taormina) very close to the cable car to Taormina (which costs 10 Euros return per person, so not a cheap daily journey). The hotel building is beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are very basic but very clean and they get cleaned every day. We unfortunately didn't get a room with a view to the ocean as none of those rooms with a view was available so with got one of the room of the back with a little terrace, view to a wall. I would imagine that the rooms with a view have an amazing view. We didn't include breakfast as we don't like to rush breakfast in the mornings so I can't comment on the breakfast but I believe that finishes around 10am. The lady in the reception is very nice and friendly :) Very lovely couple of beaches can be reached going downstairs by a LONG stone staircase so not great for mobility issues people. Not many bars or restaurants in Mazzaro, just a few and not brilliant ones and other couple or so in the beach. All the best vibes, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are up in Taormina.

After reading other reviews, we were expecting the street to be noisier, but we slept with the windows wide open. Listened to the waves at night, and sat watching the sun rise each morning. The staff was helpful when needed. Even by Italy standards, the shower is small! I managed, but it was an awkward struggle for my 6ft 4 husband, just to get his arms up to wash his hair 😄

Small bathroom with tiny shower. There was nowhere to put one's clothes or hang used towels. Instead of a bidet squished in the corner and blocked by a stool, I would prefer a larger shower.

The bed wasn't nice, very soft mattrasse and pillow.

The location was very good, the rooms are clean, staff was friendly. From the room I was able to see Sunrise above the sea. Sea is 50 meters away, Isola Bella is 5 minutes walk!

The hotel is indeed very old. You can hear people in the room close to you and we could not sleep after our noisy neighbors came back very late. The cleaning service was also not good.

The location is perfect and very close to the Isola Bella. You can easily use the Lido in front of the hotel.

Room was a little dated but it was comfortable and with the location and terrace I only really slept in there so did not make my stay negative

Quite small room. However it was accurately represented online.

Location was great if you want to be close to the funicular to head up into Taormina town. However it costs 10 Euro for one return ticket a day. Handy to have a parking option for our rental car.
