There was nothing we didn’t like.

The host and her daughter were very friendly, cordial and helpful with all questions. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the garden. Be sure to leave room for dessert though as it is the finale of the breakfast and is different everyday. The Check in and out process was easy with good communication beforehand on the step by step process for parking and finding the room. Overall my favorite stop in Sicily.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were very surprised to find such a lovely welcome and hidden world behind an ordinary front door. We had a cosy and comfortable bedroom. The garden and jacuzzi with mountain views are amazing. The swimming pool looks nice and is unique. The breakfast we were served by our host was made with care, fresh products (super fresh ricotta) and even a traditional Sicilian breakfast as 'dessert' to our very complete breakfast. Highly recommend!!

You can't park outside and need to park up the hill but not a big deal.

It is a little paradise. The outside area is beautiful with the cool bathing pools. There is also a warm hot tub. Our room was medium size with nice bathroom with electric toilet/bidet! Lovely seating, hammock, shade if needed. The breakfasts are a work of art. Christina makes a big effort to make something slightly different each day. We had different cheeses. local ricotta in bamboo baskets, garlic rolls,sun dried tomatoes and olives. There's croissants and pastries. Christina makes a different cake or dessert to finish. She is very friendly and helpful.

this place was fantastic, the garden is beautiful with so much thought put into creating a really lovely setting. it has astonishing views and a magical plunge pool. there are lots of diffferent areas to lounge around and a hot tub to watch the sunset from! Giovanna started the day with a wonderful breakfast , again with so much care put into everything , she had a lot of useful information to help us get the most out of our stay , thank you

Room a little dark. Ragusa road system not for the faint-hearted but very good explanation of parking situation is provided.

Amazing location near main cathedral square; excellent breakfast with locally made fresh ricotta; wonderful host in Giovanna, who provides hospitality and great tips on things to do. Gorgeous terraces with stunning views and hot tub etc.

The breakfasts were amazing we didn't need lunch afterwards, outside space with hot tub and natural pool were good along with the across the gorge.

Amazing B&B in the center of Ragusa. The room had everything to spend a good time : spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows, and a Japanese bidet in the bathroom! The outside area is very well thought through, with different spaces to have a relaxing time, and the breakfast is one of the best we had in Sicily.

We had wonderful days in this amazing bed and breakfast. The host is so friendly! She gave us great recommendations for Ragusa. The breakfast is delicious ❤️ The garden is nicely created with a lot of plants. Even with the heat, the little pool is quite refreshing. It is an oasis!

Amazing B&B! The best one we had in Sicily. Rooms are nice and cozy, but the best part is the garden with the pool(jacuzzi). After a day of visiting, it’s so nice to stay and relax in the garden. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely come back

We loved every single thing about Casa Gelsomino. Very easy to park in Ragusa Ibla following their instructions and incredible to be literally minutes from the Duomo and centre of Ragusa Ibla. The 2 rooms we had were quiet with balconies and great showers, there are only 4 so it will never be crowded. The garden is something else..... have to see it to believe it and fabulous views over the beautiful baroque town. And the wonderful breakfast that was different each day was definitely the best we had in Sicily. Fresh Ricotta made that morning, local salamis, cheese, fruit, breads, croissants and homemade jams and pistacchio cream and a wonderful homemade cake too. In fact we bought a couple of jars of their homemade pistachio cream to take home as it was sooo good! We loved sight seeing and walking back to relax in the jacuzzi and cool down in the wonderful pool. The hosts were so friendly and we got by with my basic italian and her basic english. And we were given great ideas for restaurants and things to visit. Utterly sublime and we will DEFINITELY return. Thank you!!!

What a beautiful B&B in the heart of Ragusa! We arrived on one of the hottest days and after having a fabulous lunch nearby, we spent the rest of the day in the beautiful garden pool! It really is stunning! The breakfast was so delicious and you have the option of sweet & savoury but to be honest, just try it all as the flavours are amazing!

We stayed in 10 hotels/b&b’s during our time in Sicily and many were lovely but La Casa Del Gelsomino stood out from the crowd. The room & bathroom were nice sizes and very comfortable. We had a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table overlooking the garden & pool and city view. Breakfast was delicious with many home made and local made treats. Giovanna goes out of her way to be helpful. The garden is lovely & relaxing. The pool an absolute delight. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub. Easy walking from the B&B to anywhere. Highly recommend. (Our GPS did not properly direct us to the property so I’ll include here that you need to drive on what looks like a pedestrian street through the main town square under a tunnel and follow the street around a curve one block up. It is really easy but didn’t seem so the first time we did it. )

So unique with the very relaxing outdoor garden and therapeutic pools. Wish we had stayed for longer. Fantastic breakfast, lovely helpful hosts. Great location. Very very happy with our stay.
