Our host could not have been more helpful in his communication. He really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, accommodation characterful and comfortable and the courtyard lovely. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Location excellent even for Ortigia. We spent several days exploring all of Ortigia and never found a location to match it. Luca the host is very helpful and considerate. His English is excellent as are his communication skills generally. We very much enjoyed meeting him and appreciated his assistance and his impartial recommendations for local restaurants etc in particular ( based on other guests feedback). The property itself is ideal. Everything is as described. We stayed for 8 nights but could very comfortably have stayed for longer. The apartment is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. The air con was excellent- simple to use and far better than many places we have stayed.

Excellent accommodation in a central location. The apartment is really charming, on several levels linked by steps and includes a roof terrace. Very comfortable bed, good facilities. The owner, Luca, could not be more friendly and helpful. This made a huge difference to our stay.

Fabulous location in Ortigia right by the little pebble beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars. We had everything we needed and the air con worked well, which was important as it was so hot!Luca was an amazing host and gave us lots of really useful info about the town. Thanks to him we had a fabulous stay and he even checked in with us mid week to see that everything was going ok. Such a lovely man.

If I had to think of something it would be the mattress topper moved off the single mattresses.

The location was perfect for us, in a quiet street but very close to the beach, restaurants, cathedral and other sights. As other guests have commented,Luca, the host, couldn't be more helpful. He supplied information on the immediate and surrounding area.The apartment contained everything we needed for the week.

The stay was amazing! Very responsive owner of the appartment. Distance to the beach was the nearest we ever had! Tasty food. And a lot of sightseeings to visit for. About restaurants, highly recommended Pindora and Peperosa

The apartment is very nice and well equipped and the location is great. Luca is an extremely helpful and friendly host. The two air conditioning units made sure that the heat stayed out. We travelled with a toddler, and it was very useful to have a baby cot, a high chair and a baby tub at the apartment.

Our stay was wonderful. The flat was beautify decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great and central. Luca met us with the keys, explained everything and gave us information about Ortigia. He was extremely friendly and helpful with every question or help we needed throughout our stay. Fantastic location and enjoyed our six nights in La Fate apartment . It's located towards the end of the peninsula and so close to the little shingle town beach (swam early eve and could see fish when we bought a snorkel & mask). Near cafes, beautiful streets and squares and easy to walk everywhere. Had it's own lovely terrace off the kitchen/diner - that was so relaxing. Enjoyed the terrace in the morning and evening to eat or sit back on sunchair and feel at peace. It was so handy having shared washing machines room and also the clothes rack on the terrace. Apartment had a lift too. Apartment was characterful with mezzane bedroom area and had a homely feel. Luca was very helpful and eager for us to be happy with everything also organised a taxi for our last day to get to the bus station in Syracuse.

Luca, was the most informative, helpful host we have come across in three decades of travels across Europe and Asia. He provided fulsome info on choosing places to eat, drink, swim, visit etc, etc. So appreciative, Luca! We loved our apartment and all its facilities (and our beach 100 metres away) and we talked about booking it again same time next year.

absolutely nothing! I got way more than I expected, and I would highly recommend staying here. My one bedroom single level apartment was just perfect for a couple. It was very spacious and so beautiful/romantic.

From my host Luca to the cleaner Zalina, made me feel most welcome and even prior to my trip I was given plenty of information. I stayed by myself and I felt very safe. My apartment was just beautiful and very traditional, just like an Italian holiday dream! My friends who stayed in another apartment was so jealous, because Luca made sure I had everything I needed down to washing liquid, and I even had the most beautiful olive oil and ground-coffee to make my traditional Italian Cafitiera every morning. they even had the cafetière jug.  Like I said, my friends were so jealous, Luca would even touch base with me throughout my stay to make sure I have everything I needed. Such a beautiful kind man ☺️☺️☺️
