It was raining when we arrived at about 5 PM and I nobody answered the doorbell. I should have purchased a SIM that included phone service.

The downstairs room had a beautifully restored vaulted stone ceiling and walls. Breakfast on the veranda, overlooking the ancient city was special.

Despite efforts, Wi-Fi wasn't functioning in our room (most probably a Wi-Fi extender issue as it was ok in the main room). We didn't stay long, so it was not a dramatic issue. Would recommend having a better coverage or internet setup. The shower head wasn't clean, and its hanging bar was not properly fixed in the wall. Suggestions: -- Instead of having 1 electric plug behind the bed head , put prolongators to bring plugs on both sides of the bed (for the phone, smartwatch, cpap machine). - Propose also Qcodes to flash and get connected to the internet.

The view is outstanding! Super kind staff : Thanks again, Giuseppe and Michele! Great place to explore Ragusa Ibla. Really appreciated the pickup at the parking, the help with the luggage, and the tips to visit Ibla. Super service. 😀 Breakfast was excellent and with nice choices. It is a very nice location, nicely decorated, with many "wow". We would definitely come again.

Luca is a wonderful guest, helpful and kind. La casa di Matilda is lovely house in the centre of Ragusa Ibla, full of character and beautifully refurbished only recently. Beautiful view on Ibla, peaceful and picturesque. You can easily park your car and follow Luca’s direction to the house; he even came and kindly helped us carry our luggage.

The spacious and very comfortable room was built into the stone, with a small balcony from which you could see the city of Ragusa. In the common area a large table for breakfast and a covered patio with a beautiful view. But the most crucial thing was Luca's attention, very attentive and willing to help in any way possible. My recommendation is if you go by car, park in Largo San Paolo which is a few meters from the B&B, and ask Luca for the shortest way to avoid the stairs

We just loved this wee gem! Communication with Luca was great ( he speaks perfect English) and after clear directions where to park our car for free near by, he escorted us to our accommodation. The property is adorable, such an authentic feel but with all the modern necessities and had the most wonderful terrace with a gorgeous view over the Ibla. Our room was a good size, lovely and clean with a really comfortable bed, air con, good bathroom and good lighting. Luca made a fabulous breakfast, fruit, breads, jams, yoghurt, croissants, cannolli etc, which we ate on the terrace in the sun. Thanks Luca, your place is gorgeous and a credit to you!

People who have lot of luggage or who have problems with walking and stairs should look for a different place.

We just stayed 1 night but we liked the location and our room. There is a great view from the balcony, it must be great to stay there in summer. Our host helped us a lot with parking recommendation and other tipps. We also got a nice breakfast, thank you very much.

All around it was a wonderful stay. We were greeted by Luca, the hostess, that also helped with our bags on our way to the house. Luca was always very helpful and attentive in accommodating our food intolerances. The room was comfortable and had amazing views. The common room, where we had breakfast, was also very welcoming and with beautiful views all around. Also very important was the free parking space, very close to the house. The location was spot on, right in the heart of Old Ragusa

Perfect location for visiting Ragusa and Luca the host was really helpful and thoughtful . The accommodation has been restored to a very high level of workmanship and still has character for the style of house . Lovely relaxing feel and would always recommend .
