Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkraineLittle things — there was no soap in the bathroom, no door knob in the bathroom, the hair dryer didn’t fit in any socket. Otherwise, most things were good.
The house was spacious and authentic, the host was great, quickly reacted to our requests. A lot of friendly dogs and a cute cat.

There is no better place to feel the authentic vibes of local Sicilian life. We do not speak Italian at all, but we could communicate with the host by using google translater and he gave us a lot of vegetables and fruits in his farm.

HungaryIt is February, so we needed to heat the place with wood and it got chilly after a few hours. For the kids it was disturbing, but if you like to make real fire (and I do), it is very nice for a couple of days. It felt natural. (There are enough fire wood outside, and you collect it from the yard.) In most of the time, the big house would be also an advantage, it would be cool in the warmest month as well. For us only two things were a bit problematic, but survivable: the shower head was broken and the seat of the toilet was one size smaller and also broken. These minor things could be repaired in no time, and in spite of this we had a very good stay, and we would choose again this location. The kitchen could be equipped in a bit better way, but you can cook, and there are enough plates, etc. (No microwave or kettle.)
We liked the location, the atmosphere of the old house. The parents of the owner were VERY VERY NICE people, and as we speak Italian, it was easy to communicate. There were lots of dogs and cats, but they behaved nicely. (If you do like pets, probably it would be even a big advantage to choose this place.) The olive trees were also very nice around. There were a couple of things missing or out of order, but we asked for them and we got it from the parents who lived nearby. You can buy honey and olive oil from them, and it is very good quality indeed. We went to the beach on foot (80 minutes), but in 10 minutes by car you could reach it.

United KingdomThere was nothing not to like.
Right from when we arrived until we left, we loved our stay at the farm! The view from the terrace/patio looked out over the olive & orange groves down to the sea. We were offered oranges and pomegranate for the picking. Lorenzo was really kind, friendly and helpful when needed. You do need a car to get about but it isn't far from the great beach at San Marco & the town of Sciacca. The only down side was that we didn't spend enough time there. Thank you for making our stay a really special one!

All was great, the host met us at late hour and 5 day stay in quite fazenda passed with pleasure. Close to beach and via stradale to Salenunte archeological Park. To Monreale and Zingaro 1 hour + with car. Perfetto.
