The hotel is beautiful. Every detail has been well thought out and there are thoughtful touches like the motion-sensor lights that come on when you step out of bed so you don't disturb anyone else in the room with you. The hotel is so much fun, the staff are lively and don't take themselves too seriously, there's a speaker in the rooms so you can enjoy music and they offer unique excursions you wouldn't get anywhere else (they call it having the Golden Key to the city). The location is perfect too, you're in the centre of the action but it's still tucked away enough that it's quiet at night.

we loved the location! this hotel is off of the main road yet right in the middle of everything. it felt quiet and private yet perfectly situated to see all the main attractions of Florence. we also loved the hospitality- the staff was amazingly welcoming.

No coffee or tea making in the room and also you had no access to iron your own clothes, you had to pay for this service to be done by housekeeping Just the weirdest thing considering your clothes are all creased from being in a suitcase for days

The mattress was awful. Foam and seriously uncomfortable.

The lighting was complex and severe in the sitting area of the suite which we therefore didn't use. We didn't find the hotel particularly authentic. It felt like it was trying to be grander than it could be.

The bed was very comfortable and the linens were really luxurious. The location is great if you want to be in the heart of the shopping area of Florence.

we were very close to the opening date so there were some teething issues but management recognised them and were very keen to try to make up for it. once these are solved the hotel will be great.

We had a couple of minor issues which are mainly related to the fact that a couple of the rooms in the higher floor we stayed on were being finished during our stay. Once we raised these issues, we were very happy with the resolutions and have no doubt that they are only minor teething points as the hotel opens to full capacity for the summer.

Great location, rooms were very high spec and a lot more spacious than we had been expecting based on the photos on the website. Breakfast was very good and the check in process was very seamless.
