How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was no kettle so in order to make tea we had to boil water using regular pot. A microwave would also be needed
Spacious, fully equipped kitchen, clean. No noise from the motorway (a bit when sitting outside), heaters working well and quickly (nights were still cold in April) Nice surroundings, cosy, flowers around.

Well located for exploring attractions of Tuscany. So cozy and peaceful. Very nice owners, they gave us a tour around the land. We could see the animals and feed them. They also make and sell the most amazing limoncello.

there were 3 of us staying here and I was surprised that bed and sofa bed were all in one big room. there was also not enough coffee pods provided for our stay and the shower was extremely small and it leaked. the location was ok but you absolutely need a car to get anywhere
it was cute and private and the air conditioning worked very well. the kitchen also had lots of things for cooking. tv was nice and big too and the main bed was comfortable.

There is not a special view from the accommodation. However, this is not a problem ....
Good, very specific location; very close to Siena and other wonderful places in Tuscany. The accommodation is comfortable, and suitable for people who do not want to stay in a city. The rooms are spacious, rustic, and comfortable enough. The owner is a very nice lady, willing to help. You may take a look at her farm as well (with alpacas, donkeys, cats and other animals), which is great for children.

This is just searching for the "bad" stuff, but we needed more than the 1 roll of toiletpaper. We used one of our own, but I'm sure the owner would have given us one if we asked her. After all, she also provided us with extra coffee when we asked :)
Nice bed, nice shower, complete kitchen, good airco, free parking. When you have a car, this is a nice location to visit Monteriggioni and Siena from. Owner was very nice, she showed us her garden with animals and got us a little jar of jelly and some delicious fresh eggs. Thank you for the amazing stay!

need to bring food for breakfast as nothing available nearby. access road to the property is in bad condition.
a big apartment with a huge kitchen and everything you need. very quiet surrounding. driving to and from Tuscany towns are btw 30 to 45 min. interesting winding roads with beautiful sceneries. hostess very nice.

I guess you should consider this place only if you arrive by car
The apartment was super-clean and tastefully equipped in a modern style, everything seems brand new. Check-in was flawless. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare simple dishes. The enviroment is really peaceful and fresh farm products can be bought on-site. Siena can be reached with a 10-15 minutes drive (hint: you can park your car at the train station parking at a very affordable rate (~2 EUR for full day) from where you can use the escalator to reach the centre).

The host has refuesd to add a roll of toilet paper for an apartment with 3 guests (including a 2 TWO years old baby) for a stay of 5 FIVE nights! We , the parents , stayed for the same 5 nights in the nearby apartment. The host has taken my son & the baby for a tour in her farm one time. We chose that specific agrotourism farm ONLY because it enabled us to see the animals for the sake of THE BABY. When my son has asked for a 2nd time of visiting the farm (again - for the baby to watch animals) the host has refused by explaining that the package includes ONLY ONE FARM TOUR! When we complained by saying that we booked 2 TWO APARTMENTS , only than the host has agreed for a 2ND FARM visit (which finally was NOT executed due to rain & mud in animal pens).

My son stayed - with his wife & 2 years old baby - at a big apartment). After 2nd night (out of 5 nights) he asked the owner for an additional roll of toilet paper. The owner has REFUSED to bring the additional roll! Wish to add that we booked 2 TWO apartments : each of them for 5 nights - so the owner had a business of 10 nights with us - we have paid her 900 euro + 32 euro city tax ALL together , which didn’t justify - from her point of view - an ADDITIONAL roll of toilet paper! Wish to add that the farm in which we stayed was an Agrotourism farm - with animals. We chose this farm only because we wanted the 2 years old baby to experience a meeting/view of the animals. The owner took my son & baby for a tour to watch the animals ONCE - one time. When my son asked the owner for an additional visit - just for the sake of the baby - The owner has refused , saying : the package includes ONLY ONE visit. When we complained while claiming that we booked 2 TWO apartments , only than the owner was ready to add an additional visit (which was finally NOT executed due to rain)
