First impressions - lots of derelict property on the street. If that's offputting then arrive by taxi. If you take the crowded bus to Monreale watch out for pickpockets.

The host is extremely nice and helpful always check our well being in the apartment and offer any assistance we may need. Very generous with welcome amenities - snacks, drinks,coffee,tea,drinking water. Kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Good location within walking distant to main attractions. The only minus point is that there are a lot of renovation work going on now along the small lane where apartment is located but that did not bother us too much as we were out during the day.

The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything required for a comfortable stay, plus some thoughtful touches (such as breakfast items, drinks and guide books). Ennio kindly accommodated an early check in and was always very responsive and had great recommendations about where to eat and what to see. In short, it was a fabulous stay!

Great location, in the heart of the old town. The apartment was light, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. My friend and I had identical bedrooms and a bathroom each, which were very comfortable. Our hosts had carefully considered the needs of their guests and went above and beyond to make sure were happy with our stay. We were given some lovely treats and given many brilliant recommendations for places to visit and restaurants.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Ennio is the consummate host and provided excellent recommendations for dinner and was readily available to answer any and all questions. The apartment itself is lovely with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms and any utensils that you might need if you choose to eat in. The location is absolutely perfect and within walking distance to all of the main sights. I highly recommend La Loggia dei Rei. I promise that you won't be disappointed. The apartment was absolutely lovely - two big double bedrooms, two big bathrooms, a large living area and fully equipped kitchen. Everything was immaculate and the apartment is thoughtfully and tastefully furnished, with all sorts of extras to make it special. It had real character and was only 7 mins walk from the theatre in the central area. Our hosts went out of their way to meet us in person, and had left lots of useful information. We used one of the suggested walks to take in some of the city's key tourist attractions.

We are a family travelling with 3 young kids and the place was perfect for our stay. We travel a lot and stay in flats / houses all over and this flat was definitely amongst our top stays! Ennio and Delia went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Communication was great, they met us in Palmero and helped with our suitcases, showed us around the flat and even had coffee, snacks, cereals, milk etc. for us upon arrival. They had even prepared a baby cot and some toys for our youngest! The location couldn't be better, the flat meets all expectations and we would surely stay there again if we were to visit Palermo again. A big thank you to Ennio and Delia!

We loved this apartment! It is really spacious and beautifully presented. Located in a quiet street with a short walk to the main streets and attractions. Air con was welcome and quiet during the night. We slept well in comfortable beds. The kitchen is really well equipped and basic provisions are provided. We ate out during our stay but you could prepare a meal if you wanted to. Ennio and his wife were delightful and so helpful both before and during our stay. Directions to main sights, bus details for the beach and brilliant restaurant recommendations. Definitely try La Galleria but make an advanced reservation. There is nothing not to like about La Loggia dei Re. Do not hesitate to book!

Good communication with the owner before and as we landed with details on how to get to the apt. Very thoughtful extras included in the apartment eg bottle of wine, plenty of tea & coffee, snacks, plenty of water, bathroom extras. comfortable beds and quiet and very well situated so we could walk everywhere. A nicely decorated light, bright & large apartment for 4.

We can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was. We were very warmly greeted by our hosts Ennio and his wife Delia to explain all the details of the beautiful apartment. We were amazed with all the thoughtful amenities provided, from the beautiful fresh flowers on the table to the bottle of delicious Sicilian wine to celebrate our stay. We arrived on a Sunday and when we inquired where we could get staples for breakfast the next day, we were pleasantly surprised to find water and milk in the fridge as well a tasty selection of pastries and biscuits to get us thru several breakfasts had been provided. All the toiletries in the bathrooms, too many list, to were of excellent quality. It was a very cold week and as we are from Florida, Ennio and Delia always made sure we felt comfortable and warm. They were always very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. They always followed up to make sure we were doing well. We were made to feel this was our home away from home. The location is excellent within walking distance to all sights and very close to the famous Mercato del Capo where you can buy fresh local products to cook in the lovely well equiped kitchen, as well sample the amazing Sicilian street food. Located on very safe and quiet pedestrian street, in a very modern, impeccably clean and secure building with a roomy elevator, which is always a rarity in the Historic Center. The apartment is very bright and cheerful, with french doors and balconies in all the rooms to allow the golden Sicilian sun in. Our stay in Palermo was the highlight of our month long trip to Italy and Spain! We miss Logia dei Rei and hope to see Ennio and Delia again!

Our host Ennio was a delight from start to finish. He provided great information and advised on some superb locations to eat and have coffee throughout our stay (all via WhatsApp, so not intrusive at all). We would not haver enjoyed Palermo as much without all of Ennio's fantastic tips.
