Your own Uffizi gallery in your room. Location is excellent close to city centre, but away from the hustle & bustle of city centre. Ricardo is the best host , lots of wonderful tips of places to visit & experience. Lovely little extras in room & a very comfortable bed.

Everything perfect!

The place met everything you are looking for, but what made the difference was the human quality of Ricardo, you can tell he likes what he does and does it with passion, he helped us carry our bags, he was waiting for us, always worried about us, it is nice to meet people like that, and I hope he does very well, a responsible person concerned about all the details, I have traveled all over Italy and has been the best place where I stayed, I recommend it 100% and besides the place is beautiful!

Bathroom is not attached to the room but very close to the room in the hallway. It’s not the most central location but great value for money if you don’t mind a 10-12 min walk.

Very clean and well kept property. Ricardo is an amazing host and has been very helpful throughout out our stay ; very quick in answering our questions about where to go, what to do and suggesting unique spots which we wouldn’t have known otherwise.

Mosquitos... but that's not the rooms fault :) Close to the center... but still expect some walking (which you probably do, when visting Florence :))

Clean room in a guesthouse (in our case including the bathroom, which was really handy). Riccardo was an incredibly helpful host and he proactively supplied us with a lot of tips (within Florence but also around)... I recommend spending some time with him :) 20 minutes walking distance from all the city center highlights.. and 10-15 from the train station. Great coffee place next door. Laundry service next door as well (very convinient if you're staying longer). If you come by car, there's an option to keep the car in a garage (5 mins walking distance, recommended) Very reasonable price. Stable internet (I had to work during the stay so I really appreciated this)

The location to the train station was very convenient. Good access to the cultural sites and a pleasant neighborhood. Ricardo was very friendly and helpful showing us bus stops to take, gave us a map with sites and how to get around. Ricardo also gave us insight to locale things to do above the tourist attractions. Ricardo refreshed our room with towels and have us lovey chocolates. The bed was fantastic and very comfortable!

There was nothing that I didn't like!

Ricardo was amazingly helpful. He gave me a map and highlighted all the free places and indicated which places had entry fees. He was avaailable on What's spp and would respond to my questions quickly. The guest hpuse has frescos on the walls from centuries ago. The shower had lovely hot water. The place was about a 12minute walk from Florence station. There was a laundry a few doors down.

The room was comfortable with a nice ensuite and Ricardo was really friendly and communicative; he even gave advice on sites to see, places to eat etc. which was really helpful and appreciated. He allowed us to keep our bag there after check out too seeing our train wasn’t until the evening.

My family and I stayed with La Luna Guesthouse over the Easter period. The property is very nice and clean, and perfectly maintained and serviced by fantastic Riccardo Lopresti. For a few days of our stay at La Luna Guesthouse we felt more like locals than guests. We also had a chance to try some of Riccardo's fantastic recommendations of local restaurants, shops and museums - all very commendable indeed! All in all - a fantastic stay and I thoroughly recommend it.

I felt so warmly welcome by the owner. I have high standards, and the cleanliness was faultless. The room had everything I needed, and the place was only a short walk away from the centre and there was a carrefour close by(supermarket). Would definitely stay again !

Riccardo is absolutely a great host with massive hospitality, providing us useful information, travel tips and recommendations. The location is close to tram and train station and other tourist spots. Carrefour express is also nearby for groceries.

It was absolutely gorgeous and the bathrooms were nicer than the ones I have at home and at most hotels. The location was amazing u are a 10 min walk from the bridges and a 20 min walk from the duomo. The rooms were big and spacious and had a safe.

There were mosquitoes in the room, which is no one's fault but just a head's up, as it didn't occur to us this would be an issue in October.

We had the room at the back so it was quiet and clean. The shower was great (enough room to shave your legs). Riccardo was really helpful and gave us recommendations for things to see and places to eat during our stay. He was available to help as needed which was much different from other places we stayed. (If you prefer to have minimal contact with your host, then this won't be the place for you.) Was also really nice to have some snacks & cold water on arrival after our train journey. Thank you! It is slightly out of the way but a short walk to the historic city centre and near the train station which was helpful for us.

if you want to be safe, then this is definitely the place for you, Riccardo is a wonderful person, he will tell you what to visit, where to eat, and treat you to sweets) thank him very much for the Floritian hospitality. The room is large, clean... the bathroom is large, has everything you need. cleaning every day. the location is great! The only down side to this room was that the bathroom was not attached. The bathroom itself was very clean. It would be nice if the hotel was a little more central.

The host, Ricardo, was absolutely incredible. Lots of attention to detail and was very helpful in assisting us with reservations and suggesting places for us to go. The room was lovely and everything was very clean.

As a solo female traveler with much travel experience but some bad experiences lately, I wanted to stay somewhere with someone who could tell me about the area. Ricardo was so helpful, even hauling my many suitcases to the tram with me when I left, as there is a taxi shortage in Florence. The space is super clean and comfy, with lots of charm. The area is convenient to all of the sites. I felt safe and grateful. I would stay here again!
