Our room was with a street view and when we opened the window it was a little noisy by the night traffic.

Lovely hotel at the heart of the city. The host Claudio is very helpful and friendly. All the time he helped us to find whatever we need - transport, touristic destinations, restaurants, etc. If you want to spend excited moments, simply visit La Magnolia Sorrento.

Coffee machine was free but unfortunately didn't make very nice coffees. Also our room had a large crack across the ceiling which was a little disconcerting. Our room faced out onto the street which was noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, make sure you get a 'room with balcony' as these seem to face out onto a quieter side road.

Nice big room, in a good location right in the heart of Sorrento, close to the train station and 10 mins or so walk down to the sea. The bathroom was good, spacious with a great shower. There was a kettle and a fridge with a few herbal teas in the room, and a coffee machine in the lobby, which was free to use. Claudio the host was very responsive and keen to help with our transport, activities etc. He was very keen to book us onto boat tours, which we weren't particularly interested in. Housekeeper was very sweet and helpful, she was the only member of staff we met in person in the 2 days we were there.

The location is very central in Sorrento. Next to the train station. You can walk everywhere. Cláudio is very nice and atencion and help you with every questions. If you want to explore amalfi coast or Capri talk to Cláudio.

I would highlight the attitude of the owner, Claudio, who was helping us in every way, planning trips even book tickets to Capri. The location is perfect, you can take a walk by night in beautiful Sorrento or have a breakfast really quick.

You could hear every noise from outside. First night woke up in the midle of the night because of noise made by other guests of the hotel but i didnt go out to ask them to to keep quiet. On the second night was the same thing happening, i woke up and went out. It was the guest and the hotel owner wich were talking loudly to each other, there was nothing to say😫. Instead of taking care of all guests need of relax they kept disturbing on 23:30.

Pretty small room, only room for 1 case on luggage stand, some of the doors were sticking. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Could hear other guests coming and going.

Fantastic Location really close to piazza Tasso. We had a room with a ground floor balcony which was beautiful. Claudio was fantastic with tips, information and recommendations.

There was no breakfast available. No one at the front desk after my initial arrival. Needed more information about the surrounding area. A map of the town would have been nice. I found an information center to fill the gap.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable and our room was very noisy because it faced the street outside. Breakfast is not included and costs extra.

The rooms are very tight and so is the bathroom, impossible to get dressed in the bathroom. I asked to upgrade the room after seeing it in person and was denied even tho I overheard the receptionist say there is bigger one available. There is no breakfast, just a coffee maker which ran out of coffee pods on our second morning (they didn't get their delivery on time). There isn't anyone available at the property, it's basically like an airbnb with multiple rooms.

This is not a hotel in the normal sense - it is a few rooms without any hotel facilities. There was rarely anyone visible there as in a reception or other staff. When seen the key persons were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but failed to respond, despite stated intent, to our request for help in booking a taxi to the airport. That said the location is great, the air con was much needed and worked well.

La Magnolia was a pleasant surprise in all respects. the location is terrific being downtown Sorrento near all the shops, a short walk to the train station and a short walk to the picolo marina. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful (thank you Angela, Maria-Teresa and Claudio). This is no major hotel chain, but a charming family oriented property. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again when we return to Sorrento.

Location was great for the price, basically in city center & close to the beach. The staff was really sweet, helpful & gave us good advice on where to eat and go to make the most of our trip even though we were there for a short amount of time.
