As I was travelling with a rental car, the locaton was easily accessible. There were a lot of parking possibilities within 100 metres from the property.

A bit far from Trapani center (about 40min walk) but Simona will help you find the buses to go and return if you don't want to walk

Simona met me at the property, in fact was outside looking for me when I arrived. I had told her that I'd be there in 15 mins and she was there to greet me. She introduced me to the apartment and had suggestions on what to see in the area. The kitchen and washing machine were the great features of this place that I specifically looked for, as I'm traveling for an extended time. It's located in the "suburbs" and there is free parking, which was also a requirement. Her replies to questions was prompt and informative. For non Euro travelers, note that the street is 2m from the front door, so there is traffic noise, especially in peak hour. The bedroom is facing a side street so that's less of a problem. In summer it may be more problematic if you want the windows open. There is A/c provided though. Highly recommended local experience. Simona is a warm and very welcoming hostess.

Nothing I didn't like!

First of all, the owner, Simona, or Santa Simona, as I call her, picked me up from the train station when I arrived! The apartment was perfect. Great bed (and bedroom), nice bathroom, very good kitchen/living room. Compact but very well appointed. Great wifi. The apartment is situated towards northeast in Trapani, so only a short walk from the cable car (Funiviva) up to Erice. To get into the old town or the city beach take bus 25 and/or 28, or it's a half hour walk. Also nearby is the lovely regional museum (Peppoli). When it was time to leave the divine Simona (who lives just above so available for any question) drove me to the station, early on a Sunday morning!

Sound insulation is not the best, and sounds from the street are easily heard.

What a superb host Simona is! She has created a fabulous experience for any guest at her apartment in Trapani. This a beautifully presented, lovingly decorated, spotlessly clean and superlatively equipped place to stay. Extra special conveniences include a washer-dryer, microwave,Lavazza coffee machine, and a magnificent range of toiletries - all for a great rate at the time of my stay in December. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom well enough soundproofed from traffic to ensure a good night's sleep Simona herself is a skilled, considerate, communicative and most hospitable host. She will think of your needs even before you do! I thank her for my memorable stay in her lovely town.

The location was on a busy road but as I discovered, most of the traffic noise died down after the rush hour.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the interior matched the website photos There was a generous supply of coffee, tea, milk, croissants, toiletries and household cleaning materials. The owner was friendly and welcoming and happy to assist with any enquiry.
