Automatic lighting in the communal hallway would be a bonus but don’t be put off by first impressions of the communal area it’s just typical of the city, the apartment is wonderful.

Location was very central and characteristic of Catania. The interior of the apartment has been beautifully designed in sympathy with the stunning old features. There are numerous excellent cafes and restaurants on the doorstep together with many extremely interesting sites to visit.

A small price to pay is the traffic in the evening and early morning. Even with windows closed it was very noticeable, so from April it could be even more challenging. Though the apartment is modern and new, the entrance towards it is not. You will for sure have a 'where are we going?' feeling first time you get there!

Convenient place from which to explore the city of Catania, bang in the centre of town. Unlike staying in a hotel, it gives you more of a feeling of experiencing living in the city. That does include challenges such as finding a parking spot for the car. But you have a host of nice places to visit right at your doorsteps.

Very friendly greeting and clean house. We love the decoration. The location was quite central so you can walk to the popular attractions. The owner has 2 restaurants downstairs and food was amazing at both of them. Just make sure to reserve ahead.

Great Location, just 1 minute from the main squares, buy yet very quite area. Place was very modern, spacious and super clean. Very close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Beds were very comfy and nice blackout curtains.

The apartment is very comfortable. The furniture is in good condition and high quality. Location is perfect, steps away from the cathedral and the main street. The restaurant downstairs run by the same owner is great as well.

Great central location, nice and modern appartment. Even has the washer which might be usefull for longer travels. Just be aware that there are several steps that lead to the appartment and no lift. Below the appartment there is a nice restaurant, owned by the same owners as the appartment. We would definitely recommend both, the appartment and the restaurant.

Large apartment in the center, a few steps from the main attractions, decorated with excellent modern taste, ckean and airy, comfy bed,one feels as at home immediately. Fully equipped kitchen corner. The apartment belongs to Restaurante Bell Antonio with by far the best food we had during our stay in Sicily. Friendly and caring owners. We travel a lot but this all was one of the best accomodations and food we ever had. Big thanks to the owners.

We had a lovely stay at La Maison del Bell’Antonio. We will definitely be staying again when in Catania. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and very close to the Piazza Università. Sandra was a fantastic host. The food in the restaurant below (Osteria Il Bell Antonio) was also a major highlight…the best food we’ve had on our long Europe tour so far.

I recommend it to everyone!!!!The facilities were great, the tv had netflix, disney, washing machine, iron flat, 3 balcony, ect,... The air conditioning worked great. It's right on the main street, but it's not busy or loud. The pizzeria and restaurant in the building were awesome. We had the best pizza and drinks on Catania!!!! Very kind owner, nothing was a problem. We 100% want to come back one day. It was ever prettier than in the photos!! Big thanks to owner ❤️❤️❤️
