Directions to arrive from booking.com were a bit confusing but the owner was very helpful and it wasn't a problem.

Location is ideal, walking distance to city centre and port but with parking. It's connected with the camping next door so you can use all the related facilities including pool, laundry etc. Set in a beautiful historic building within typical fruit garden.

The location is perfect with short distance to the center and to ferry. The property is surrounded by well cared garden. The restaurant has overhelming view to Vesuvius mountain. The croasans and coffee were perfect for the breakfast.

Very helpful staff. The gardens around the property were beautiful. Easy to walk to town and lots if parking. We were only there one night but hope to return. The history of the property was amazing. The room was clean and spacious.

La Neffola is a nice stone building within a camping, located in a beautiful area, very close to the city (10 min walk). It was so convenient to have free parking for our car right there! People were very kind and helpful, they even upgraded our room with no extra cost!

Not only are the area and the facilities excellent, but the owner, Pierro, treated us extremely well, and went above and beyond in helping us to resolve several of our small tourist mistakes. The residence has both a pool and a restaurant—we did not end up using the pool, but the pizza was excellent! Would definitely love to visit Sorrento again and stay in this residence.

The awful, suffocating smell every morning of kind of a burning rubber or so. I could not figure out what it was. Invasion of screaming kids at the poolside at certain times.

Needs revamping.

The accommodation is actually more like mini cottages. They have a side gate which is just 30 metres or so from the accommodation that is locked to people not staying but you can access which leaves you just a 6 minute, flat wall (one tiny flight of steps) to the Main Street of Sorrento. The accommodation itself was very dated, the bathroom needs updating. There is a cute balcony off the bedroom (looking into gardens) and a table and deck chairs outside. The accommodation is part of a camping site (camper vans and RVs). Pool was good plenty of space for everyone. The people at checkin, 2 men, couldn’t been politer. Just a bit abrupt.

Our room was in dire need of an update. That didn’t concern us too much, however, it felt hard to justify the price we paid for the stay. We expected a homely vibe - but we had an outdated and musty-smelling room (note: our room is not included in the pictures on booking.com) We returned during the late afternoon for a siesta, the bed was comfortable enough. When we woke, we found hundreds of ants over the furniture. Shocked, we investigated the source of the ants. What we found was a patched hole in the wall, covered in mould. We alerted the team, but as this is a campsite, resource is limited and it took a while for them to respond. When they did visit the room, they sprayed cleaner on the mould. With nothing else to do, they said sorry and left for the evening. My husband and I had a pretty dreadful sleep after that. In the morning, we cut our stay short and checked out. Safe to say, our next accommodation was fabulous.

The beds are very uncomfortable. The shower was so small it could only be used by a very small person. We had lots of ants on one bed. A hose broke under the sink and the whole place was flooded. The cleaning staff was wonderful in cleaning it up. The owner never offered to lower our price for our inconvenience. Our cloths and bags got wet and we had to take them to the laundromat, it took two hours and $20 Euro’s. Again the owner never said anything about reimbursement.

The Gardens are beautiful. The location was wonderful. The cleaning staff was superior.

The room was OK but it wasn't the nicest. The toilet / bathroom was small and not very nice. The apartment again was OK but could do with an internal uplift.

The free parking, the location and the friendliness of the staff were the best parts of this place. The pool was also pretty good and clean, though if you have young children, it's a VERY DEEP pool with no shallow end. The actual surroundings and area was nice too.

I hadn't realised that the residence is part of a camp site, it is slightly separate but it means facilities like the pool are shared by potentially hundreds of people which could be clearer in the description. The main reason I've scored down though is the bathroom. It really needs an upgrade. A clean bed and nice bathroom are the two most important things for me but unfortunately the latter wasn't the case here. For the cost paid I have higher expectations. Fittings are tired and worn, limescale and a bit of mould, etc. All fixable and if they were fixed I would give this place at least another 2 points as it has great potential.

Pietro and his team were very welcoming and helpful with tips for Sorrento. The location is great, especially once you're checked in and can use the side gate. The outside of the building is lovely, as are the grounds. Rooms are spacious.

Provision of simple instant coffee/tea bags in the cottage would be ideal for guests looking for a quick hot drink.

10-15min easy walk to Sorrento town centre. The quaint little cottage is located in a small, pretty garden surrounded by lemon/orange trees. Washer/dryer services available next door at 8 euro per wash.

The property is older but it does have rustic charm that we liked but might not be for everyone.

The location was ideal for our family, it ia a hidden gem! Remember to look out for the “Camping” sign from the road and you will see La Neffola is small print. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and a bit seperate from the onsite RV sites. The hotel is walking distance to shops and is also walking distance (via long stairs) to Marina Grande. The pool was nice but busy and has no shallow end. Pietro the owner was the best! He gave us the lay of the city with several recommendations and saved us when I failed to realize I only booked 2 nights instead of 3! He also helped with transport arrangements back to Napoli airport. We had an amazing time in Sorrento and I would definitely book here again.
