Our room was on the ground level, which I didn´t know before. The windows were therefore up high and the appartement was a bit dark, which was for us ok, since we only slept in the appartement. The windows also had a decent view protection, which was nice. One thing I didn´t like too much was the bathroom design - it seemed a bit old fashioned. Also the toilet seat needed repair and overall the room could have a bit cleaner.

It was the first time I visited a hotel without any human contact, everything was automized. But it worked really well, so nothing to complain on that side. The room was really spatious and had everything you need. And the area is fantastic. You have a parking garage right behind the hotel and you´re directly at lake como, so this is definitely a plus.

Nothing major, only the fact that I requested a baby cot and some restaurant recommendations and I was promised to get confirmation and receive on whatsapp which didn't happen, so comparing to other places/staff who raised the bar and were attentive to details and responsive, I would say there's better service

Everything! Location, style, comfort, staff, price, amenities, space. We couldn’t ask anything more! Parking is just behind the apartment and grocery is just 2min walk. Restaurants are 5min walk. Ferry port is 2min walk. It’s also the center of Como, so you easily go to the west or east.

The property has excellent location as within walking distance are the main central squares of Como, the port where you can buy tickets for cruises in Como, many small coffee shops-cafes where you can take breakfast and last but not least a supermarket to get some basic staff for the days you will stay at La Perla! Also the help of the staff, Federica and Carolina was valuable both before and during our stay!

The dryer didn’t work very well. The washer was very small. However, there was a laundry mat very, very close by about 3 to 5 minutes (walking distance). I left my laundry drying at the laundry mat and walked steps away to have a drink at the restaurant/bar.

Great location by the lake and around 5 minutes away from the train station/bus station. There's also a supermarket a few minutes away and gelato right beneath the apartment. The apartment was larger than expected, clean and has everything we need (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, plates, cups and cutlery). We had a large balcony facing the streets, but the windows and walls were surprisingly soundproof so it was quiet and peaceful during the night.

Not a drawback, but a note to stuff. We requested a cot, but when we saw 15 Euro charge for the cot we cancelled it via booking.com. We still found cot in the room (and were charged for it). To be honest we were happy you did not see our cancellation cause we were too tired to build our own bed, but other guests may not be happy if you do not see request cancellation:)

It was very spacious and clean. Self-check in was smooth, which was important as we arrived at night. Stuff was very friendly and helpful when we needed access to the fridge to store medications for our kid after check out. Beds were comfortable. You can lower rollers to block the morning sun as people listed it as negative. Proximity to the lake and good cafes is excellent.

The only drawback is the bedroom lacks a black-out curtain so sensitive guests need to use eye-pads to block the morning light.

To truly enjoy accommodations while traveling , the room itself and the service are equally important , for my experience with La Perla has been really great in both ways. The apartment is well equipped with all essentials for an enjoyable vacation-stay , the kitchen is exceptional. Comfortable beds and roomy bathrooms. The managing team of two sweet Italian ladies speak fluent English and they have the warmest smile whenever you need them .
