The view from the hotel is very beautiful and the hotel is located in a really calm area. The owner family was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with many options to choose from.

you need to make sure you rent a car if you’re going for a few days, taxis are very hard to get and walking from the lakeside is around 15-20 mins. nothing against the property. You wouldn’t get the views without being higher up!

The hotel is amazing, the room was clean and tidy as well as the whole hotel. Was a really nice place with air con and fantastic rooms.

Nothing. Everything was fantastic. You will be treated like family at this hotel. I would stay here again for sure.

The view was terrific from both our room and the dining area. (Be aware that the property is located up a very steep hill, hence the fantastic views!) I enjoyed the variety of options at breakfast. There was something for everyone. Breakfast we kept well stocked at all times. The staff are wonderful people, friendly, kind and helpful in every way. We felt completely at home and you can tell the hotel prides itself on guests being 100% satisfied.

"My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel La Perla, and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect - the view of the lake from our room was breathtaking, and the terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast was the perfect way to start our day. The hotel is family-operated, and we were blown away by the level of hospitality and warmth we received from everyone there. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Overall, we think this is the best place to stay in Como. The location, the views, and the service are all top-notch. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again. Thank you and see you again!"

fantastic views, staff very attentive and helpful. parking under hotel in the Garage. perfect position to visit other towns on the lake either buy car bus or the boat service which is just down the hill. staff will also advise where to park, saving you parking charges on the lake front.

It is a bit of a hike up the hill to the hotel, your sat-nav may take you the 'back road' which is very very narrow and with hairpin turns. To be fair the main road up is only slightly better but it is less stressful for your passenger (especially if they normally drive in UK). A Taxi back up the hill after dinner and wine is about €20

Beautiful view across Lake Como from room balcony and all around the hotel. Friendly family run hotel and nothing was too much trouble for them. Gluten free cakes and bread available for breakfast. Reception was always staffed and happy to assist with ideas for day trips, places to eat or just to ask how your day was.

View from the hotel is amazing, wonderful location to stay - beautiful cities Tremezzo and Menaggio not far away. Hosts were perfect, helped with recommendations where to eat and what to see. Suggest to stay here a lot!

My only complaint is the bed is hard. The pillows are flat. If they changed that I would give the hotel a perfect score!!

The location at first seems like you are going way out of town. it’s so worth it. The view is amazing!!! The owners are nice, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They give you a nice breakfast with lots to choose from.

Amazing views. Family run and super helpful. Was exactly what we were expecting from other reviews. Breakfast was delicious and we felt like we could really relax and were part of their family for a few days. Walking around the lanes was a joy and the very local Taverna was delightful. Total escape from modern day hustle and bustle.

I can't find anything wrong with the hotel

The hotel was the most beautiful hotel we're have ever stayed in. The atmosphere was so relaxing with beautiful views across the lake. The breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't do enough for you.

Brilliant stay, would definitely go back! The hosts were incredible, they couldnt help enough and were so friendly and welcoming. The views were stunning and the town at the bottom of the hill had some incredible restaurants which the hosts helped us book. We stayed for my fiancée's 30th birthday and they made us feel very special! The rooms were big, ours had a wonderful private balcony and the swimming pool was great. The property is up quite a steep hill so would recommend taxi's on the way back up. Easy enough to get to from Milan, we took the train to como and the bus from there. The room had a mini fridge which was really useful too. Great stay!
