The room was poorly equiped (e.g., safe was not working, almost no storage space), and the only drawer stinked so we ended up not using it.

The room had a very nice terrace with an astonishing view to the sea. The hotel is a peaceful place, the staff is super attentive and made our stay extremely easy and relaxing.

the location is magnificent and right near the main port. the views from our room were spectacular. relaxing on our balcony was a highlight everyday. the staff was all very friendly and helpful. They attended to any and all requests. they even had a laundry service.

Breakfast was not well managed, not enough tables/seats to accommodate guests at busy times, food was not restocked timely and most of the time they only had one staff on the floor which meant long waits for coffee/anything needed from the bar. Our room was located close to the laundry room or perhaps kitchen as it was noisy from 8am, unfortunately the other noise issue came from dogs barking from the early hours in the morning... considering it's a 4 star hotel rooms should be better insulated to guarantee quiet for the guests. Lastly, although the pool is absolutely fantastic we had two issues with it. Firstly the beds are difficult to operate or faulty so in one occasion we had to chase a member of staff 3 times before we got assistance. Secondly and more importantly some guests were served large amounts of alcohol whilst in the pool, which led them to be extremely raucous, making it impossible for the other guests to relax.

Location was perfect and great complimentary pick up from the harbour. Helpful reception staff. Great facilities (eg pool, spa, laundry service) and breathtaking views over Stromboli and the other islands. We were on honeymoon and therefore asked for a bottle of bubbles on arrival, which was also offered by the hotel... ver pleasant surprise!

They have yappy little dogs that annoy everyone except the owner. One tried to hump my leg. Ok, one actually humped my leg. Completely a bad idea.

We were met at the ferry, bags and bodies golf-carted to the property, located at the end of a quiet path/street. Pleasant room with views across the pool of offshore rocks and an ocean peppered with yachts. Helpful friendly staff served drinks and snacks poolside, a rich and diverse breakfast buffet, excellent cappuccino just right. Panarea is the aeolian island of choice, and we would return to this accommodation.

The beds had been pushed together in our room, so it was a bit awkward.

The rooms made a poor impression compared to the visual impression on the website. They were not furnished well and not fitted out professionally. The decor/art/furnishings were uninspiring and old fashioned. The pool water was more salty than the sea (evaporation?) and perhpas good be better with a lower salinity - it could be diluted with fresh water without compromising the cleanliness.

The pool area was lovely and service good. The view from our room was pleasant and friendliness of front of house staff fantastic. The breakfast selection gave ample choice and the pastries were tasty. The sheets were of good quality and cleaning efficient.
