Perfect base for Etna and east Sicily. Quiet street. Close to Nicolosi restaurants. Owners keen to help and to make you comfortable. Spacious. Fridge full of yoghurts, milk. Pastries. Dont skip the fresh morning croissant. They will bring it to you. Equiped kitchen, incl.coffee machine. Btw if you are coming to Sicily first time and considering staying in Catania, better don't. Anywhere around is better, whether it's on coast or in hills. I enjoyed morning run to Monti Rossi, amazing views. Best tracks for running are from the north of the hill. It's best to circle around first and to run/walk up.

Nothing, it was all great. We were only there one night so only used the kitchen for making tea / having breakfast so can’t comment on cooking facilities.

A beautifully maintained spacious apartment with nicely decorated bedrooms and bathroom, a lovely front garden area and patio area where you can relax in the shade. Great location with parking at the front of the property and an easy 10 minute walk to the town centre. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They left yogurts, fruit juice, milk and others pastries and bits in the kitchen and brought us fresh pastries in the morning. There’s also a very good takeaway pizza place about 1 minute away. I would highly recommend staying here!

The house was clean and spatius. The owners are kind and kean to help you in whatever you need. Feels like home. House is located close to etna and Catania. If you have transportation mean and you want to be outside Catania and near etna, this is a perfect choice.

Absolutely immaculate, very up to date and modern. Hosts were exceptional in going above and beyond to meet all our needs (e.g. hot, fresh-baked croissants every morning), plenty of snacks, coffee and fruit, etc. We stayed in seven different locations and it was by far our favorite!

The apartments are simply beautiful, and the terrace is cosy. The host is friendly and welcoming, and brings breakfast (fresh, delicious croissants) to go with the juice, tea and coffee, yoghurts and snacks that are already in the room.

There was nothing to dislike or even to be picky over. It might be a little far from the town's nightlife for some but suited us fine.

Overall standard of accommodation was superb. Plenty of provisions (coffee, cakes, yoghurt, milk to name a few items) supplied by the host. Fresh daily breakfast pastries and bread included was a treat. And just 2 minutes walk from the finest pizza takeaway.

Hosts were absolutely fantastic, the apartment was huge and had a beautiful balcony. Easy access to the town and food, which has a fantastic selection also. (especially rosmarys pub). Everything was spotless, cant fault it at all.

Sometimes the inability to communicate in English was cumbersome, but with enough hand-waving and google translate we were able to figure things out 🤌🏻

The apartments were very well equipped - from snacks and water and juices to espresso machine to toiletries in the bathroom, it was all there. There is a very nice terrace with chairs and tables, allowing to chill with a glass of wine after the long day. Apartment is spacious and very clean. we had a very good time with a group of 4. The hosts are very kind, caring and thoughtful. There are multiple great restaurants within walking distance from the property.

So thoughtful, they included so many extras like snacks and water. They even offered me a fresh baked croissant for breakfast! The b&b is walking distance to downtown Nicolosi with cute shops/ restaurants and a market on Sunday when I was there. It is an easy drive to and from Catania city and airport, Taormina, Naxos beaches, and especially easy to get to Etna. The neighbor is a your guide, and he may be able to take you to work with him if you need a ride to the base lol. I rented a car and only planned to stay here one night before I climbed Etna, but I stayed two extra because it was a great value and great base to get everywhere north of Catania. highly recommend!

We can only say amazing things about the flat and our host. Unfortunatly we could stay only 1 night but if we go around again we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. The flat is extremely clean and beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are big and well heated (what is a bonus if it is chilly outside) it was just perfect.

Staying at la pigna dell'Etna was really great. The one bedroom apartment is renovated, very clean with fully equipped kitchen (breakfast included), private bathroom with all the necessary accessories. Location is convenient for organising trip and excursion in the mountain, but also close to Catania city centre (30 minutes by car) The host are exceptional and always available in case of need Definitely we will come back!
