FEDERICO & HIS WIFE VIRGINIA MET ME AT THE STEPS OUTSIDE TRAIN AND HELPED CARRY MY LUGGAGE UP THE STAIRS TO ROOM:) I tipped them 10 Euros. Train station is right there...very close. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM & Gave me MAP WITH SUGGESTIONS. SO SWEET & FRIENDLY. GET 15% OFF IL GATTACCIO Fresh Seafood they Cook Right there for You! Staff is so Sweet, Fun, Friendly & Vibin'. Federico & Virginia accessible via WhatsApp also. Such Good People. The Room was actually more than expected. I stay at 4-5 Star hotels around the world and the room was so Modern & clean with Gold details and looks brand new. I was in Room 18. The Rain Shower was like being in a Spa. Just put a towel at the edge of curtain to prevent water flowing out. The Water View from your Bed is Amazing and You Must Have Tea or Coffee out in Balcony...SO NICE! Bed & Pillows were Very Comfortable and everything was so GREAT! They have walking sticks and umbrella at door if you need it. Felt Private even though you're at the heart of the village. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mornings can be a little noisy as the room is located on the stairway at the beginning of the walk to Corniglia. Not an issue for us as we were up early to walk anyway, but we noticed on our rest day.

This property was a lovely surprise. Located in the centre of Vernazza, its balcony overlooks the small pebble beach and has a wonderful view of the sea. Clean, comfy bed, good coffee machine. The room was serviced daily and quiet at night. We were greeted by the host off the train who helped us up the stairs with our luggage. She gave up a map of the town and showed us where the information centre was to obtain our Cinque Terre pass.

There is nothing we did not like. Bathroom was a bit small but it was not a problem for us as the everything was good for us. Also for the families with kids, there are stairs inside which could require you to watch out your kids during your stay.

View was out of this world and we felt we could just stay inside the flat for days. We have enjoyed the sounds of the waves while we were sleeping. The host greeted us at the station and gave us all the good tips. It was a very easy check in and check out. We had a very nice time staying in Vernezza. Do not forget to catch the sunset with your wine from the top of the hill (Ristorante La Torre).

A little pricey (we usually do Air BnBs) but it is a prime tourist destination.

The only downside is the unit is right on the hiking trail so you hear a lot of people climbing up and down the stairs. We left the balcony door open to hear the sea instead of the hikers.

The balcony was the best! After a long day of walking and steps it was great to sit on the balcony and relax each evening. The room was very nice and we really enjoyed it. It was a pleasant surprise to have an outdoor sink for laundry.

Our stay was fantastic but we wouldn't recommend the property to someone with mobility issues. There are lots of stairs.

Our stay was in every way excellent. The location is exceedingly clean and gorgeously situated over the sea with ocean waves to lull you to sleep every night. The hosts are very responsible and accommodating. Federico met us at the train station and immediately got us extra blankets when we asked. Plus, being located in Vernazza is ideal, especially for easy access to the two major walking trails currently open, going north and south. Would highly recommend this accomodation! An extra perk: by staying at Ripa, we got a 15% discount on food at Il Gattaccio, a marvelous little restaurant across the street.

There was a small drip from the fan in the bathroom and the bathroom ceiling could be repainted. Blackout curtains would help. These are super minor and we would love to return.

This place is amazing and you should stay here if you can. The view and location are amazing, everything is new and recently remodeled, and did I mention the location and the view? Plus no need to worry about your cardio with all the steps! This apartment is laid out like a boat with multiple levels separated by stairs. There are a ton of stairs to get here. This is all in the "like" part and just for information; if you can walk it you should and we tried to extend our stay but they were already booked!

Very good location, despite the 50 steps leading to the apartment's entrance, this is exactly what we wanted to be in Vernazza! Owner welcome us at the train station and helped with the luggage.

We ate at another restuarant for the sunset view and got served bad mussels... I got really sick but that had nothing to do with them. Which is why I appreciated the nice bathroom LOL!

The apartment/room was right on the cliff overlooking the sea. Quiet and the bed was very comfortable. They gave us good recommendations at restuarants where we enjoyed some really good food/atmosphere. Coffee in the room and bathroom was nice.

Unfortunately, the safe was not working at time. The water heater would run out of hot water by the the second persons turn to shower .

The host very kind and helpful, and met us at the train station, also was helpful when we asked. The bed was comfortable and warm .
