Excellent location, staff especially lovely, Elmedina .. she was so warm and welcoming, travelling alone she was so helpful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Only street and restaurants were loud outside so take stronger ear plugs. I would definitely stay there again except in a room away from the street.

Our room was quiet, very spacious, and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were fantastic! And, excellent location to the train and all the sites. Highly recommend!

It was the perfect location for my stay and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has an extremely popular restaurant and they also arranged a reservation for me (because the hotel's guests have preferential access), for a Friday evening, even though huge crowds are waiting before the entrance practically every evening.

First the staff. they are very very friendly, polite with smile always. very accommodative. The rooms are excellent with all amenities. Real value for money. If I ever visit this place again, I will choose only Scala. Felt like I stayed in a family villa.

There were construction works going on in front of the hotel which made it hard to find it initially and using the coded elevator was an unnecessary hassle.

The location of the hotel is very convenient - within walking distance (5-10 minutes) from the center, where all the most important attractions of the city are located. The breakfast is very tasty with an individual approach to guests. The staff is attentive and always ready to help. The hotel has very few rooms and is very quiet. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

We enjoyed breakfast but think there could perhaps have been a little more choice. However, this we understand is probably connected to the size of this hotel, so it is not really a criticism because what we did have was lovely.

We really liked the location of this hotel. The size or our room was fabulous as was the en-suite. The staff were very friendly and so helpful when we had questions. We enjoyed breakfast.

Not a lot of space in the room, especially when you stay a couple of nights it would be nice to have a bit more space for a chair or just some more moving space. But all rooms are different so maybe mine was smaller because I stayed as a single person.

Excellent breakfast with attention to what guest prefers. Nice clean room. Perfect location to visit Florence on foot and still be close to train station and tram to airport.

I find after travelling in Italy for a few weeks, older buildings generally nothing is perfect, but the team went out of their way to be available for my questions.

Very friendly helpful team in every interaction! Loved staying in a 15th century building and the ceiling painting was an extra piece of ambiance. The location is so great, quick walk from the bus/train station and your home and a few steps to impressive historical sites! I loved it so much I stayed one more day.

Everything was perfect!!

The facilities and the staff were amazing. Any request or doubt we had they never hesitate to help. You can also ask for a reservation in one of the best restaurants in florence (owned by the hotel) and even if its full they will find a way to get you a in. Breakfast was also very tasty. Location 10/10.

The only issue I had was the mattress was a bit firm but some people like firm like my husband so this was more his style bed. other than that everything was great.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were great with suggestions where to eat and how to get around and see things. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were just so wonderful and catered to whatever you needed. Breakfast was 7:30 to 10, however, they made breakfast early for us at 7:15 since we had an early tour. They can also give u breakfast the night before if u have a really early start and u can keep it overnight in the fridge. they have an elevator which was great. Great location, close to every place we needed to go including major landmarks.

The noise outside.

The location is great close to main train station, restorants and 10 min walk to the main cathedral. The staff is super kind and helpful. Breakfast is created individually according guests list of breakfast wishes and it is really worth for the price.

I loved everything!

I loved everything about this place. The staff were so incredibly warm, friendly and unpretentious. The room was gorgeous and comfortable with a great view of the street. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious with great service from the chefs. Perfect location, close to the station and great restaurants and cafes.

it's difficult to find the hotel, though. And when we reached the front door of the hotel, we struggled to find a way to open the iron gate of the hotel. And the lift of the old building is too small (I understand the reason of this, But, Anyway it is not friendly to people with a luggage.) Overall there are some minor points to be improved.

They have nice facilities inside the room, the room is spacious and armed with a large bathroom. I like the location alot and had a nice breakfast on the morning of day we left the city.

Very welcoming and accomodating staff. Clean room. Easily accessible building with clear instructions. Mini fridge with water bottles ready to go was very helpful for a very hot day!
