It would be nice to have a kettle or coffee pot. Positano itself was a little too congested and full of people for us.

This is a family owned property and all of them could not be any friendlier. They were very helpful very cheerful and very kind. You felt like they really did care about you and whether you were enjoying yourself. They were very eager to go above and beyond for any detail. The place was and remained spotless. When we got there, everything was squeaky clean. And they clean the rooms thoroughly every day. The view from the huge beautiful terrace was breathtaking. And the terrace itself was very pretty with beautiful flowers planted in the planters all along the border. The room location was perfect. You walk out of your door and you were in the middle of all of the beautiful sites. It was nice to have furniture to put your clothes in and hangers were provided. We really enjoyed our stay. Clear recommebdation. Super centrally located, great view, and amazing hosts. The hosts also helped us with recommendations for dinner/breakfast and how to best move around at the coast. When we come back to Positano, staying here will be our choice again.

Nothing to improve — amazing stay

Such an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Location was great — close walk to the bus station, beach, restaurants, etc. The hotel staff was incredibly nice, they made us feel so welcome and like a part of the family! It also felt super safe (had a locked gate at night), room was spacious, stunning view. Cannot recommend this place more highly — we will be back!

The property has recently been renovated so is in excellent condition, it’s very clean and really well located. As it’s positioned a little above half way up there’s an up hill walk from the beach but then you are rewarded with wonderful views. Also there are several good restaurants close by so at the end of the day there is no need for too much more walking if you want. It’s family run and they just can’t do enough to make your stay perfect.

We got recommended by family who stayed the previous year. We loved it the staff were very accommodating. They gave us glasses and plates and really anything we needed which was very helpful. The family run business was in a great location making doing the stairs down to the beach not as difficult. Definitely recommend

Best location in Positano. It's perfectly situated between two important bus stops (the SITA stop at Sponda for Sorrento and Amalfi, and Plaza Mulini for the 3 Mobility Positano routes, Priano, Nocelle, and Interno Positano--very handy!) and also convenient to the Cathedral and waterfront. Nearly every other location in Positano will have MANY more stairs! La Tovolozza is quiet, pretty, and exceptionally clean. Paola and her entire family were so warm and welcoming that we felt completely at home. We also had a truly lovely view from our balcony!

The staff were so kind and friendly to us and did everything they could to help us during our stay. They were so welcoming with big smiles each day. The property itself is spotless and so central and we’ve never seen a better view than the view from our balcony. It was wonderful!

The family who run it are engaging and proud of their residence. It was well cared for, clean, and comfortable. The location was great. It provided easy access to restaurants, the bus, and various shops. The balcony provided a lovely view of the church dome and the sea behind it. The floor tiles were very beautiful.

It was the little things that stood out like our phone chargers were neatly rolled up and placed on the bedside lockers. Would definitely recommend 👍

There was nothing I didn’t like I couldn’t complain about anything

The location was superb a few yards up the road was a 5 star hotel and we had the same view but the best thing were the staff , the hotel is family run and the owners and their daughters are the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet fantastic service

Only thing I wish I knew was someone would be coming into the room every day to clean. Wish there was a sign we could put out that says we didn't need cleaning that day. Scared me whenever I came in and my bags that had our important information moved. Also, for the price, it would have been nice to at least have a few goodies in the room, like waters and packaged crossaints. 500+ for 3 nights can make that just seem not so steep.

This gem is incredibly well-located, with spectacular views from spacious balconies. A family-run business, you feel immediately welcomed, and they help with any requests, questions, etc. I can't say enough about this place - it really is exceptional.

Everything Was Perfect!

Everything about this place was perfect! We had amazing experience. This iconic view is breathtaking and it was lovely waking up every morning to this view! Worth every penny. The place was very clean and it was cleaned daily. Bed was very comfortable too. The private terrace is a big bonus. The host was incredibly helpful and attentive and very accommodating. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Will return in the future. If you want to book this place don’t hesitate! You wont regret!

The staff was the best part, all of them made sure we felt at home and always came out to say hello or help us. Amazing staff, large, comfortable room, extremely clean and amazing private terrace with great view. Plus the location gives easy access to civic centre while also being out of the tourist crush.
