The hosts are amazing and will make you feel right at home and like you are part of their family! They are extremely helpful and friendly (The residence is a female run family business and has been so for several generations!). The room was simple but comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing and and offers great refuge from busy Positano during the day. They gave us great dinner recommendations (Bruno's down the road was a highlight!) and also helped us booking a taxi to Naples airport. They really took care to ensure it all went wel, super super sweet and helpful! If we come back to Positano, this is where we are staying!

The location is perfect !!! All the good places are a walk away, honestly our time in Positano was perfect because we booked This accomdation. The hosts are extremely warm and helpful. It’s a family run accomdation and entirely managed by women. The rooms are tidy and serve you the Italian breakfast with a smile.

The only bad thing I noticed, it’s that they didn’t have anything in the fridge to welcome us, it doesn’t cost much to welcome people with some food, wine, or at least water.

The property was a perfect location ! Walking distance to everything ! Right up the hill from the boat ferry, beach’s, and bars ! The hotel itself was clean and perfect views! Paola and her staff / family were so kind, welcoming, and helpful! We can not wait to go back and visit !

It would be nice to have a kettle or coffee pot. Positano itself was a little too congested and full of people for us.

This is a family owned property and all of them could not be any friendlier. They were very helpful very cheerful and very kind. You felt like they really did care about you and whether you were enjoying yourself. They were very eager to go above and beyond for any detail. The place was and remained spotless. When we got there, everything was squeaky clean. And they clean the rooms thoroughly every day. The view from the huge beautiful terrace was breathtaking. And the terrace itself was very pretty with beautiful flowers planted in the planters all along the border. The room location was perfect. You walk out of your door and you were in the middle of all of the beautiful sites. It was nice to have furniture to put your clothes in and hangers were provided. Nice size bathroom and well equipped

We really enjoyed our stay. Clear recommebdation. Super centrally located, great view, and amazing hosts. The hosts also helped us with recommendations for dinner/breakfast and how to best move around at the coast. When we come back to Positano, staying here will be our choice again.

Nothing to improve — amazing stay

Such an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Location was great — close walk to the bus station, beach, restaurants, etc. The hotel staff was incredibly nice, they made us feel so welcome and like a part of the family! It also felt super safe (had a locked gate at night), room was spacious, stunning view. Cannot recommend this place more highly — we will be back!

No complaints.

The property has recently been renovated so is in excellent condition, it’s very clean and really well located. As it’s positioned a little above half way up there’s an up hill walk from the beach but then you are rewarded with wonderful views. Also there are several good restaurants close by so at the end of the day there is no need for too much more walking if you want. It’s family run and they just can’t do enough to make your stay perfect.

Best location in Positano. It's perfectly situated between two important bus stops (the SITA stop at Sponda for Sorrento and Amalfi, and Plaza Mulini for the 3 Mobility Positano routes, Priano, Nocelle, and Interno Positano--very handy!) and also convenient to the Cathedral and waterfront. Nearly every other location in Positano will have MANY more stairs! La Tovolozza is quiet, pretty, and exceptionally clean. Paola and her entire family were so warm and welcoming that we felt completely at home. We also had a truly lovely view from our balcony!

The staff were so kind and friendly to us and did everything they could to help us during our stay. They were so welcoming with big smiles each day. The property itself is spotless and so central and we’ve never seen a better view than the view from our balcony. It was wonderful!

The family who run it are engaging and proud of their residence. It was well cared for, clean, and comfortable. The location was great. It provided easy access to restaurants, the bus, and various shops. The balcony provided a lovely view of the church dome and the sea behind it. The floor tiles were very beautiful.
