The diner was not at the same level as the rest of the hotel. Food was very well dressed but taste was ok.

Last week, me and my 5½ pregnant wife enjoyed some marvellous holidays at la Villa del Re. We wanted to enjoy some quiet and quality time together and the result was FAR beyond the expectations. The place was literally outstanding but what made it a piece of heaven on earth was the top-notch and excellent staff. They distilled a warm and caring behaviour with every smile they gifted you. They made you feel as part of their family (because you could really appreciate they were one on their own). From the very first moment, when we arrived at the desk, with the attentiveness Valeria and Marina. Special compliments to Alessandra and how she distilled kindness and professionality helping us resolve every single inquire we had. Also thank you indeed to Stefano for solving any possible issue we could have. What to say about the food… Marco and ALL the kitchen staff made us gain in happiness with every bite of their food. It was all amazing! We didn’t want to leave the hotel to have lunch or dinner to any other places! And if you join it with the class and savoir-faire of Diego (he made us feel as if we were the only commensals in the room – hope our daughter gets a little of it by being expectedly born the same day as you 😉) and Mateo (I still dream with his crêpes-suzettes and the way he stirred that amazing pasta with lobster) you get the best possible results. We want to also thank Elisa, Karisma, Jana, Taziana, Pietro, Andrea, Stefano for making us smile and feel at home every time you approached our table. Special compliments to Bruno and the way he made me enjoy every single BUBBLE 😉 in my glass. The beach team also really made us enjoy the amazing spot they had recently prepared. Thank you captain, Luva and Giacomo por helping us with everything we may need. You were so good we nearly didn’t enjoy the pool and the incredible bar-hut you had (amazing service Samuel). lack of facilities like gym or a proper spa, limited choice of restaurants and menus. Restaurants are pretentious and expensive… It’s in the middle of nowhere if you need a taxi you need to book advance with the reception etc.

The initial room was rather small. However we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was spacious.

The service was exceptional, all staff professional , pleasant and ready to help with a smile. Food at the restaurants very good . A special mention goes to Matteo at the Bella Vista Restaurant, who asked the chef to prepare a dish specifically for us. Beach and pool facilities excellent.

Our room was very small in a corner and not very bright. The walls are thin so you can hear everything in the next door rooms.

It is stunning! Perfect location with an infinity pool looking out to the sea.

It would be great if there was a proper spa for massages and treatments. The resort was beautiful but was really missing this.

The rules over sunbeds and tables. Also, our room was above the coffee machine so a lot of early morning noise.

Wonderful location and the staff are really helpful. The Bella Vista being open in the evening is great (food there is very good).

the pick up box replacing the breakfast when early leaving. the fact that it was not possible to order something lighter for dinner after 6 p.m. when not eating at the Restaurang
