I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this property.

This is the best rental property we ever stayed in. It was central to all the attractions and restaurants. It was welcoming , clean and comfortable.

Loved everything, and our time in Matera

Everything. Eustachio and Benedetto were so lovely. They met us at the house and explained every little thing we needed to know, including restaurant recommendations. There are actually a couple of great restaurants right near the house. Also right nearby is probably the best view you could have of Matera, especially at sunset. Easy access to walk all over the sassi. The house itself is an architectural masterpiece right on the edge of the canyon. We could see falcons circling from the bedroom window.

It would be more practical for breakfast that the basic butter, cheese, ham and bread would be already bought instead the fresh pastrys because if you don't eat them instantly they are not so good anymore.

The view and place itself was beautiful. The place is just in the right spot for walking everywhere, just in the line of old and new part of the town. All the comforts you need for your holiday are there.

We liked everything. We could have used a washing machine, but otherwise perfect!!

Fabulous home! The best vacation rental we've ever stayed in!! Modern, clean, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Estachio was the most helpful and accomodating host. He met us when we arrived and helped us find free parking. The kitchen was stocked with beer, soda, milk, coffee, tea and drinks, capacola, cheese, pastries, sandwiches, huge bowl of fruit, etc. I loved the huge modern tub!

The property was super convenient to the old town and everything we wanted to see. The hosts were extremely helpful with everything. Even secured us a parking space close by. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and beautiful! The food left for our breakfast and snacks were great! We could not have asked for a better, more convenient spot! Would love to stay again if we ever have the opportunity to visit Matera.

Nothing - the set up is mainly for eating out with breakfast in the apartment which works really well.

Amazing property with incredible views right on the edge of Old Matera. Incredible hosts, Eustachio and Bernadeta who just couldn’t do enough to help make everything 100%. They gave info to help drive into town without going through the Limited Traffic Zone and then had parked their car to save a space for us. Very kind and caring hosts. Breakfast was fantastic, getting to the Sassi area was just minutes away, Alberobello was just over an hour fir the Trulli houses. A really wonderful three day stopover on our road trip around Italy. Thank you so much Eustachio & Bernadetta.

OMG!!!! We didn’t want to leave. Everything was perfect. The modern design, technology, kitchen utilities, and ambiance were stupendous. I wouldn’t change anything. I’ll be back for sure… and often. Perfect location. Eustachio and Benedetta greeted and cared for us like we were family. (He even parallel parked our large rental SUV in a small spot.) They could teach hospitality to the best 5 star luxury hoteliers. It comes natural to them.

This property was absolutely AMAZING and we all already want to return again. The apartment was spotless and impeccably decorated. We loved our interactions with our hosts, a family that owns the home next door as well. They were super sweet and accommodating, even saving us a parking spot super close to the house. The location itself is right at the entrance to the old city and makes everything very walkable while still remaining quiet and private.

The owner helped us secure a street parking close to the property, and provided excellent breakfast. The property is beautifully updated and divided into three floors so myself and my two boys each has our own bedroom on separate floors. The place is also exceptionally clean. Although it does not directly face the old city like some properties where one can see Sassi Caveoso from the window, it is conveniently located between Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso for exploration of both places. The owner also provided us a list of excellent local restaurants.

The property was very clean and modern. Great decor. Gracious, caring hosts. The location couldn’t be better. Go right of the apartment and you are in the direction of the new town and to the left, the historical center. Great open view from the rear.

Everything about this apartment was wonderful. To begin with, our hosts Benedetta and Eustachio bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. Great location. Stunning apartment in a magical town.

May not be an issue as such, but be aware that both the bathrooms are en-suite, so if you are in the third bedroom it would be required to enter another bedroom to access the facilities.

The hosts were absolutely delightful! Two of the nicest hosts any of us had ever met. They prepared a special welcome for my mother in law's 60th birthday that made her cry! The location is perfect for exploring Matera and in a lovely quiet location. The hosts were so helpful, they even made restaurant reservations for us and arranged a taxi back to the airport for us at a great price, as well as giving lovely recommendations for around the city (e.g. where to get breakfast). The accommodation itself is just incredible, absolutely stunning views, the sunset on our last morning from the window was something we will never forget! The place is so perfectly spotless and has been renovated to the highest standard. It is clear they have taken exceptional care - it feels still brand new, like nobody has ever visited. Thank you so much for a truly brilliant stay that surpassed all our expectations and was even more beautiful than the photos suggest!

This is such a beautiful house in a fabulous position. It’s been renovated with the utmost of care and tasteful design and makes the most of the spectacular ravine views. It’s in a perfect position on the edge of the Sassi for easy access with your luggage. The owners, Benedetta and Eustachio, are so lovely and always attentive and caring for our needs.
