How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Perfect stop between Austria and Italy, delightful town with direct access to Main Street from hotel. We always stop here if we can, do a little shopping including a Pakistani store for spices.

The hotel has two distinct sections being the older building on the main street and a separate building about 30m behind on the rear lane. It could be clearer when booking which building your room is in. We were in the rear building which was good apart from the noise of early morning waste collection and adjacent construction. The hotel is also used by bus tours so breakfast can be crowded but independent travelers are separately seated.
The hotel is located on the main street in the old town center which is very attractive and restricted for pedestrians use. The room was of good size and well appointed. Wifi was good. Parking is available immediately behind the hotel which is convenient once you know how to find it!

As it was quite warm during our stay, AC would've been appreciated. We opted to just keep the windows open, so no problem.
Central location, steps away from old town. We had half-board. Food was excellent, both at dinner and breakfast.

Modern and traditional at the same time, the hotel has an excellent location with the staff being very friendly. Dinner was included in the price and was superb promoting local products.

A couple of bottles of water in the room will be great!

The breakfast was average, I would suggest not booking the breakfast and instead enjoy one of the local cafes instead
The room was great, it was a good size with a large bathroom, walk in closet and balcony. The location in the village was perfect.

Pillows very soft.
Parking could be a little tight, especially in the basement which suits small-medium cars. Park at rear of hotel and the front door takes you straight into the main street. Breakfast was good and the family running this hotel were very nice. Extremely clean.

Parking was a bit of a challenge: good to have free parking right in the town centre, but spaces run out by late afternoon.
Spacious ‘superior’ room, freshly refurbished; extensive breakfast; superb dinner – five courses of quality food for a bargain €16 extra. Pleasant if touristy main street right outside the door.

The parking, which is a big plus in the city, was a bit cramped and we had to leave the keys at the reception (however, that was not a major issue). The room was in a detached facility of the hotel, so we had to walk some 30 meters outside to get to the dining hall (but again, also this was not a big issue).
The hotel was a very good value for money (we opted for the half board) and the location was excellent (not too far from the highway and yet at the city centre). The meals were very good and the staff mostly extremely kind. The room was very big, had a nice mountain view, and clean.

Autocut electric its too dark to sleep no night lamp. Bed in corner its prison for 2nd person.

A clear cost of accommodation for a dog is not indicated anywhere. In fact, 20 euros per night for dogs of a hypoallergenic breed weighing 2.5 kg, which is always in a carrying bag, is unreasonably expensive. The wellness is very small and only works 4.5 hours a day. Accordingly, sauna is crowded with people.

We weren't told there was a hotel discount on sky equipment and skypass. Lockers at the spa were all taken.
